My wife had an accidental "karen" "choosing beggar" incident a few days ago. We were at a Starbucks drive-thru, she placed our order and we waited. We get to the window and she says to the barista "I want these for free". It's a good thing the barista spoke code and replied "you mean you would like to use your stars/points"? My wife to her embarrassment realized her comment sounded karen-ish answered "yes, yes... that is what I meant!"

In the event that this isn't common knowledge, the vegetables were referred to as "free fixin's", meaning that while we had a standard formula for how much to put on by default, you were entitled to as much as you wanted on request. If you wanted three handfuls of jalapenos on your six-inch, you'd get it. No extra charge. Well one time this guy, drunk as a skunk, comes in and orders a sandwich. And he kept asking if I could hook him up with some extra tomatoes, some extra pickles, etc. At the end that sub was basically a giant mountain of vegetables, with some meat and bread somewhere under the heap. The guy gave me a $20 to pay for it and told me to keep the change for "hooking a brother up". Sure thing man! No problem! I wonder if he ever realized he paid $20 for something I only would have charged him like $3 for anyway. Oh well--I was more than happy to pocket the free money.

I LOVE PUPPY BLOOPERS!! My dog has recently started to whine loudly and start jumping on me like she's trying to do CPR or something. I gave EXTREME insomnia! Sometimes I wake up in the SAME NIGHT!! So I take whatever sleep I can get, usually 3 hrs during the day. And she goes to town on me. There's always at least one other person home so it's not like she needs to be let out!
