Delhi Dehradun Expressway | Dehradun Uttarakhand Full Update |

The Delhi-Saharanpur-Dehradun Expressway, also known as National Highway 709B (NH 709B), is an under-construction, 210 kilometres (130 mi) long, 12/6 lane access-controlled expressway, which will connect Delhi, the national capital of India, with Dehradun, the capital of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It will pass through the states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh , Uttarakhand, and will pass through the cities of Baghpat, Baraut, Shamli and Saharanpur. The National Highway 307 (NH-307) is also apart of Delhi Dehradun Expressway.
It will have two spurs, or link roads, to ensure connectivity with cities lying nearby to its route: one 50.7-kilometre-long (31.5 mi), six-lane Saharanpur-Roorkee-Haridwar Expressway, and another 121-kilometre-long (75 mi), six-lane Ambala-Shamli Expressway.[10] It is being built at a cost of around ₹13,000 crore, and will reduce both travel time and distance, from around 5-6 hours to only 2.5 hours, and from around 280 kilometres (170 mi) to 210 kilometres (130 mi). It will be completed by January 2024.[11] It connect to Char Dham Highway in Uttarakhand.

14:12 I don't know but why often i get worried that once it be open for public they will destroy the pristine nature of this very place by throwing trash bottles and what not, next come up shop which will be encroached on riverbed ( as it's dry for most of time). In Japan and China there were extremely strict laws against things such as littering, spitting, illegal encroachments and poaching/theft of forest resources. People were trained to respect public and forest property by the means of these laws which imprisoned people for violations. After generations of implementation of these laws, the people are now naturally disciplined and these laws were no longer used as frequently as the number of violations also declined. Now people are naturally respectful and disciplined. It has become their second nature now. So these laws are no longer necessary.

में कल ही अपने मामा के यहां देहरादून गया था, सहारनपुर के गगलेहड़ी से गणेशपुर गांव तक कंस्ट्रक्शन का काम गर्मियों से पहले किसी भी कीमत पर पूरा नही हो पाएगा। और गणेशपुर गांव से देहरादून तक नब्बे फीसदी काम पूरा हो चुका है। बस फिनिशिंग का काम रह रहा है जो के उस को भी पूरा होने में दो से तीन महीने और लग जाएंगे। इन शॉर्ट पूरा हाईवे दिल्ली से देहरादून तक अप्रैल या मई तक ही ओपरेशनल होगा।
