Way way too crowded I hope Shamli - Ambala expressway when completed will help ease load on Delhi - Chandigarh NH People in East Delhi can take Delhi - Dehradun expressway till Shamli and then turn left towards Ambala. Ambala - Chandigarh 40 kms is another big big bottleneck I hope someone pays attention to this.

This road is a very very nice , smooth and time saving. I also got lost near Dwarka in the web of flyover and roads and instead of going towards Najaafgarh, I turned towards International Convention Centre and from there could manage to go towards Najafgarh.

I've travelled on ALL expressways in and around Delhi-NCR, and have to say that UER-2 (Dwarka to Nazafgarh stretch) has the BEST road quality and decoration too.. super smooth road of black tar not stupid cement.. all flyovers and entry-exits are super smooth and well aligned in terms of angles. 👏

Under UER 3 or UER 4, this expressway should be extended from Alipur (ending point of UER 2) to Raj Nagar Extension Road in Ghaziabad via Northern Peripheral Road. The Raj Nagar Extension Road would connect to the much delayed Faridabad- Noida- Ghaziabad (FNG) Expressway in future which in turn ends at Gurugram-Faridabad highway. In other words, with UER 3 & FNG Expressway, all Satellite and Upcoming cities within Eastern and Western Peripheral expressway (Gurugram, Dwarka, Narela, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad) would get connected without even entering Delhi. It will assists Lakhs of travellers and reduce traffic congestion inside Delhi. This entire Circular Expressway could then be renamed as Satellite Ring Road.

Just a glimpse of the kind of infrastructure India needs to lay out over the next 2 decades. India needs to develop & elevate at least 20 of its tier-2 cities to tier-1 status; complete with modern state of the art infrastructure, IT parks, telecom & media hubs, education hubs, shopping & entertainment zones, logistics parks, biodiversity parks, and at least 50% of the overall area under green cover. Some of the cities that may be considered are Navi Mumbai, Gandhinagar, Noida-Greater Noida-Yamuna Expressway region, Indore, Chandigarh-Panchkula region, New Raipur etc.
