@RAJAS-hm9fw: Sorry for the late response. If you select the MSG instruction block then hit "F1" key, the "Help" menu will pop up and clearly explain everything. The "enable" bit is set when the EnableIn goes true and remains set until either the .DN bit or the .ER bit is set and the EnableIn is false. If the EnableIn goes false, but the .DN bit and the .ER bit are cleared, the .EN bit remains set. Important: Do not change the EN bit. The controller ignores the change and uses the internally-stored value of the bit. The "done" bit is set when the last packet of the message is successfully transferred. The .DN bit is reset the next time the EnableIn goes from false to true. Important: Do not change the DN bit. The controller ignores the change and uses the internally-stored value of the bit.

@Dennis Jiu: Yes, you can do it with just a cat5 cable. But please note this is CIP communication only between Allen Bradley PLC's. You still need Modbus card for generic communication between Allen Bradley and non-Allen Bradley PLC such as Schneider or Idec PLC's. Hopefully this fully answers your question.

@@ManuelMartinez-rz5nv :Yes, you need a "Prosoft" module for Modbus communication. It can be either MVI69-MCM for Modbus RTU (serial) or MVI69-MNET for Modbus TCP (ethernet). @@ManuelMartinez-rz5nv : To be honest, I am not familiar with NAT. From my experience, if NAT is a protocol NOT from Allen Bradley, you might need a specific NAT module for communication with NAT devices.
