Thanks for the information on this technique, Rachel! I've done this before trying to use up dribs & drabs of unloved fiber into a working project. I had NO idea it was a real thing and it had a name! And your wee ones are so cute! So glad you didn't edit them out! Slàinte!

Thanks so much Rachel! Last year I made a combo sweater that I love, but it did stripe. I think that doing it this way might eliminate that. I'm headed to Stitches West later this month and will keep this lesson in mind.

Why not run the two ropes of roving through the drum carder so that they are blended together at the edge where they meet?
