DISCLAIMER: Core Moto rear wheel, weighs 5.05lbs less than stock wheel. Core Moto front wheel, weighs 1.75lbs less than stock wheel. The reason my front wheel weighs the same and my rear wheel weighs only 2.43lbs less, is because the weight comparison was not performed with equal components. Heavier front brake rotors, heavier brand new tires compared to worn out tires, lighter sprocket was installed on stock wheel instead of stock sprocket. The weight comparison was to determine the current weight difference of my current setup, not the Core Moto wheel weight.

After spending all that money to save like 1kg... Thats like the difference of riding before lunch or after lunch haha. I would be crying. Its basically a purely cosmetic upgrade. I really hope it was all sponsored gear, if it isnt then Im gonna give your video a thumbs up to try help you pay for this upgrade! 😂 All jokes aside, your bike looks incredible!
@ALFAVITAGA2 ай бұрын
@@ImNoTourist It’s not sponsored so I’m going to need a lot of those thumbs up lol 😂 On that note, 1kg of rotational mass is not the same as 1kg of mass, so for someone on the track that kilo kai mean the difference between loss or win. But for the street I don’t think it will matter much. I guess I’ll find out on the ride review.

@@ALFAVITAGA I look forward to the video of you testing it. I dont do track stuff to be honest, I find its the same as riding on the road except you constantly have like 10 cops watching you all the time so you cant really have fun. I like to have my fun on the road because there is nobody watching me unless Im VERY unlucky and Im willing to take that risk 😂 The track as probably more rules like you cant do this and that and you must do it this way and at that speed... naaaaa not for me. I ride my own ride if you see what I mean :)
@ALFAVITAGA2 ай бұрын
@@ImNoTourist I feel that you may have ridden in a very restrictive track. I have heard crazy stories about certain tracks and based on that it would have been a no for me too. But the tracks in my area are not restrictive at all. If anything, when I first did my first track I lost interest in riding the street completely. You can push limits on track that you can’t push on the street. If you push those track limits, then street feels meaningless. Plus one mistake on the street and its gave over. A mistake on the track could be a mistake you can afford to make. But track is expensive and very time consuming. So not an easy task. But I’ll see how these wheels feel on the street ✌️

Decrease the weight of 1kg on the body is not much difference but on the wheels makes alot difference and performance

Great video ! Those front after market rotors are most likely thicker then the stock ones which give better braking but a tad bit heavier .. for say stock 5mm and these 5.5 or 5.5 to 6mm and to why don't see a weight difference ... do that same way of centering forks and pads on front wheel instal 😎 Just wondering to why you want to make gearing longer with -1 on the rear sprocket , you need more top speed possibly
@ALFAVITAGA2 ай бұрын
@@farschadabolfathi Thicker rotors plus some extra grams from the new rubber, added some weight. I actually did not make the gearing longer from stock gearing. Stock gearing is 41T and I was at 43T. I lowered one at 42T to try it out as 43T had a bit too much front lift. I loved the agility of the shorter wheelbase the 43T gave, but I’m hoping the forged wheels will compensate for the bit longer 42T wheelbase. I’ll try it out and give a feedback on the ride review. ✌️
