You can use the lever on 10 clicks out if you want to., It dosn't matter if it touches the fairing, the lever won't bite until it is pushed in quite a bit so you won't engage the front brake (for an example if you find yourself needing to make a u-turn on full lock etc..).

This is correct, however, I still don’t want my levers hitting the fairings regardless of front brake engagement. Take care, ride safe.

Keep the key in the on position and turn your clip ons all the way to the left. See what happens 😂
