Quick question can you run the deatschwerk fuel pump module without return line?

I have a no crank issue so I try to turn it over couple times with the fuel pump priming couple times will all the fuel return to the tank or no? Will it sit in the engine?

It should return most of it. But will still have some in the fuel rail and little in the lines. Won't do nothing if it sits in the engine. Gas is a good cleaner so you will be all right

What is the flex fuel sensor? Do I need to have one?

Flex fuel sensor is to run e85. You need kpro to run it too. You only need it if your going to run e85. But if your just running pump gas no need for it. You just get more power off e85 fuel

Don't know much about ktuner. But I think there about the same thing except kpro v4 you get more options and its blue tooth. Might have to research if you can do flex fuel on ktuner though. Not 100% sure

Where did you put that filter at the return or feed hose?

Under the car in the channel were fuel lines go. I recommend putting it in the engine bay area if you have room. I might in the future relocate it to the engine bay.

When I got it it didn't have a feed line. Only return. So you would only have to get 5ft line and two fittings.

@@kallday4584 so when you installed everything fuel pump, lines, and injectors you just adjusted it on kpro, ktuner? You can run without tuning? How long did the full install take you?

I ran it for a life 4-5 months with the fuel setup. You can change injector size in kpro. If you have everything then plan for a day of work. Maybe two days at most. If your doing flex fuel sensor hook that up around the rack and pinion closer to driver side. And set it lower. Because of the hot side of the turbo. I need to relocate mine lower. Best thing to do is draw out a diagram of how your going to run it. That way you know if you have enough fittings for the way you run it. Mainly for your feed side. I took it out. I have detswerks fuel pump module. With detswerks 400 pump. It was a drop in module so I didn't have to hook up the return line. It came built in with module. Little pricey but worth it.

If your doing your own return style module, you might have to look into if you keep it or by pass it. Like I said I just did the detswerks one that way I didn't have to worry about that stuff. It looks like the detswerks by passes it.

Remove the heat shield and you’will see what I am talking about n the sensor u cud somewhere else different it gets really hot on the firewalls
