I have one correction for your excellent video. In order to use different colors for all of your memories and to select different colors for call, left, right, and air vfo bands you have to change COLOR MODE to MEMORY. The "ALL" setting in color mode allows only one color for standby, rx and tx that is applied to every setting. So, set color mode to "memory" to get full color functionality of memories and VFO. To set VFO left, right, AIR and call you must click on the Call-VFO Channels tab at the bottom of the screen. Set color mode in settings/radio.menu.settings at the top of the screen. Hope this helps someone figure out this awesome radio.

I like having separate memory for calling frequencies. Surprised more radios don't do that.

do you really have to have the transceiver turned on to fill in the programming information also where to you plug in the programming cable on the radio end

No, you can play around with the radio setup without even having a radio, and save the file. You only need the radio (turned on), to read from it, or program it. The programming lead plugs into one of the external speaker jacks, the one nearest the fan. Good luck, Andy G8IPA

@@kthompson2155 I never understand why all these companies only make stuff for Windows only. Windows is the worst system one can ever buy. I just dont understand it. Its like a shoe store opening up and not selling any shoes that are size 1-13.
