RTA Medchal, Telangana | Driving Licence Test | Car Light Motor Vehicle (LMV)

A cloudy day with slight rainfall. Test given post lunch i.e. after 3 PM. The sight of the test area is at 3 PM, already flogging with impatient and unruly people. So, the suggestion would be report to the test area half an hour prior to the test slot, for registering thumb impressions and submitting the necessary documents.
The documents are 3 Passport size photos, Form 4, Original Learners Licence (attested by RTA Authority), Payment Receipt for Driving Test, Photocopies of Vehicle RC, Insurance Certificate and Pollution Under Control Certificate.
The test is very simple and involves negotiating an English 8 track, followed by a H track (in reverse) and concluding with a turn in reverse through a tight corner. That's All!
Achtung!
*Wear your Seat belt at all times.
*Use Indicators. They are not lying on the steering stalk, for no reason.
*Please drive responsibly. You can be a nut, but can't be replaced like one!

As long as it doesn't appear like you stalled, it is Okay, but technically your vehicle must not stop, unless you are changing direction or waiting for somebody to finish, on the track. Unfortunately, it is subjective to the examiner. After the H, you'd have to turn and do the reverse parking test.

This was a Chevrolet Spark used for the test. I would suggest you to use any entry level, short wheelbase hatchback, for the test.

Hi Kritika, you are talking to one such person. I never took professional driving classes. About the indicators, you must use them 50 Meters before negotiating the turn, depending on vehicle speed.
