A little late response, but it might help a few others. Alamo Theater is big in Texas (where RT is located). I had the pleasure of going to one in SW Michigan before they closed down, it was really damn cool. It's a unique business model, I've lived in NJ, SC, KS, and MI and Alamo is the only one I've went to that works like that. Few other theaters do this, especially where you can order beer before/during your movie being that they're a drafthouse.

Why? They didn't get rid of him. Ray chose to leave on his own. He wanted to further his streaming career and so he chose to leave RT/Achievement Hunter on his own. In fact, from what they said, Geoff had tried to convince him to stay but Ray said that he just wasn't really feeling the vibe anymore and wanted to do his own thing.
