Puggyjman 107 This got me thinking, so I looked at the release date for both episodes. The episode of Minecraft (King Ryan) was released on July 19th 2013. AH usually records a month or more in advance of releasing content, so it’s safe to assume that this episode was made in June of that year. Let’s not forget that Edgar existed long before this episode. Now the first episode of RWBY aired at roughly the same time as King Ryan, July 18th 2013. So yeah, I’d say the timing works out where the Grimm in the cage mirrors Ryan and Edgar.

Pre-2015, pre-Fullscreen buyout, this is what Rooster Teeth was supposed to be, not the over-scripted/curated stuff they make these days(some of it is great, but it is not what I loved RT for). 2003-2013 was amazing content. Geoff, Burnie, Hullum's occasional appearance, Joel, Jack, Gus, Gavin, Michael, Ray, and Ryan was a golden cast across 99% of the stuff they made(shout-out to Nathan Zellner in "Chain of Thought", in my top 3 RT shorts ever... the sound of the wind!). Note that this was not just before we knew about the Ryan stuff, it was before any of it happened, before he sullied himself and hurt people. I came to RT from the DrunkGamers website that started it all, it is an era of the internet I miss!
