I'm surprised and a bit disturbed at how many of these ads I remember the music of. How much telly must we have all been watching in '86??

my sister made me go up to Maurice and say 'you are a total prat' outside mass in Brittas Bay in 1985! (I was 6)

A drama about the Irish advertising industry during the eighties would be great, like mad men.

It was in 1986. The voiceover over the Texaco Collection ad says, "Watch out for new gifts in " 87". There are also any other reasons posted here in this ballot.

Had they no way of correcting audio in 1986?! Visit Limerick’s swimmin....swinging granary complex...lol Things were so hit and miss and slapped together back then

the milk tray was alot cheaper back then, you would pay ten euro for a box today same with the biscuits, how time changes

No opposite if adjusted for inflation the 3.88 box of roses would be 10 euro a box .but thewere proper chocolates after all!
@carolinemccormack77642 жыл бұрын
@@silvergirl2847 yeah that's what I said they around 10 euro a box today, and the tubs are at least 7 euro were they would have been half of that in Irish punt at that time, though I would live to see what the prices would be like if the punt came back

Stuff the Cadbury's, the Yellow Pack assortment'll do me grand ;-) The three ad breaks which feature Maurice are all from the previous year, 1986.
@55167247 жыл бұрын
Colm O'Rourke the stuff was cheaper to buy then than it is today, the roses were £2.89 then and now the same size box is around 7 euro and the sweets in it are shit, they're not like the ones you got in it back then
@mfitzy1006 жыл бұрын
Stuff was made expensive compared to average wages and earnings though. These are far more affordable now but the quality has dropped considerably since then.
