Anne Marie Hayes and Matthew Twomey join Marie Crowe and Orla Keeling to reflect on the camogie championship so far, the disparity in the groups and their predictions for the All-Ireland quarter finals this weekend.
Former Galway camogie player Anne Marie calls for a similar competition to the Joe McDonagh hurling division. Matthew also highlighted the lack of competitive games for teams outside of the top six and calls for help to develop counties including Antrim, Down, Limerick and Clare.
Twomey guided Cork to All-Ireland success in 2023 and he details the level of commitment and professionalism that is involved in being an Intercounty manager.
"It was non stop. Forty, 50 hours a week I can easily say it.I can put my hand on my heart and say that was definitely what Cork camogie was to me for the last two years"
He describes the increase in standard, commitment and professionalism in the game and the hours of work that go on behind the scenes.
