我童年見證了。整個五十年代到六十年代的，香港仔！認識九成以上的街坊隣里。走遍香港仔每一寸土地。包括海邊海上的一切。由鴨利洲，到十五間。黃竹坑。工藝院。田灣。全部都充滿我的足跡！ 當年寧靜的美好歲月，永留心中。 非常珍貴。 尤其是香港仔的培德女學校。 當年所有的修女們。我們都認識，😄😄😄👏👏👍 培德女校。整個五十年代。對於香港仔街坊，作出了很大的無私貢獻！值得永記不忘😄👏👏 我更加懷念。當年跟我們一起成長的小朋友！老街坊！ 尤其是每年的天后誕。那種喜悅的拜神氣氛。充滿全區。 搭起了大戲棚。聘請著名戲班，入來香港仔做大戲。 我的童年。大部分時間。都在街頭度過。每天都是玩玩玩！😄 更加多謝香港仔工藝院（香港仔工業學校）所有神父。余先生。👏

大家有一個錯覺😄😄😄！ 一提起香港仔。就是會想到水上人家😄！其實，，香港仔的精髓，全部都集中在市區內的街坊， 日常的生活，人文社會氣息。街坊鄰里的和諧共處！ 並𣎴是水上人。他們的生活習慣。對於大部分香港仔居民，也是有些陌生的。因為他們，除了上街購物。買日用品。其他時間。都會留在船上！😂😂😂 不及我們，海濶天空。😄👏👏👏👏

That was the classic Aberdeen - the home of the fishermen. Although many of the fishing boats have largely been diminished but their roots are still remained through seafood stalls or dry seafood stores. The Jumbo Floating Restaurant, once famous for serving locals, is now just a pricey restaurant serving tourists overseas. I really hoped that the unique lifestyle of this Southern Hong Kong Island area remained unchanged. But my hope will not be that high once the Southern connection of the MTR will undoubtedly raised the rent of all these small business and disappearing along with the other unique districts throughout Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories.
