RTS Cuda, The Real Story…

This is the real story of the 1970 RTS Cuda as told by the original owner. He explains how he purchased the car and the reasons behind all the mystery.
Anthony was sadly not included on any video or article about his car, even though he was the owner. He wanted to simply tell his story.
HE IS THE TRUE HERO THAT PRESERVED THIS PIECE OF HISTORY THAT EVERYONE IS SEEING TODAY.
Anthony never wanted to lose this car, nor did he have a choice in the matter.
He purchased the car in the early 1970's and kept it a mystery for a reason.
He was the guy who preserved the car for many reasons as explained in the video.
His dream was to donate the Cuda to a museum for people to enjoy. He is asking the new owner to bring the car back to Michigan where is came from.
There are many more details to come on this car and his long interesting life.

Anthony owned and preserved the car all those years. I have known Anthony for over 20 years and he is the most interesting person I have ever met. He is the real deal and his love for cars goes deep! He is a very generous person and loved to give back to young people that were interested in cars. Over the years he has donated many cars and his time to high school automotive programs in Macomb county and the Detroit area. Keep a look out for more of his interesting stories.

This Cuda as well as ALL 4 of the RTS cars need to be scanned and recreated in 1:18 scale die cast collectibles for all of us who would love to have that piece of automotive history in our homes. That would be the ultimate way of honoring the wish of Anthony.

Anthony I’m happy you got your story out there! If you didn’t do this I’m not sure you would of been mentioned the way you were at the auction! I am so happy Chuck Miller talked about you before the bidding. I know this was not the way you wanted everything to go down and I wish it could of been you sitting in the car with Chuck yesterday! You should be proud to know that your gut feeling 50 years ago was right on! I can’t wait to show it to my students Monday! why after 50 years of hiding the car (even though being approached by the owner of the other 3 RTS cars offering to buy it) has he decided that NOW is the time for the public to see it? why didnt he do it years ago? or sell or lend it to the owner of the other RTS cars so they could all be publicly displayed together for the first time since 1971?

If the conservator is doing her job right the money goes into an account to take care of Tony's needs , She already let him loose another cuda he had in storage because she ignored the mail sent to him when they sold it!

No, he agreed to sell it to a museum then got double-crossed, he didn't get a dime out of the car's sale from what I understand.
