Hey Rachel - Sure wish I had seen your video sooner. I also had tried making a shutter fold a month or so ago and ended up making a template for the shutter mechanism, but still was not very happy with how difficult the card was to make. Your instructions make it much easier to do, this might just be my 3rd card for our upcoming swaps! Thanks for sharing all of your trials/test cards it really helps. 🥰

This is a really awesome wow-card. Thank you so much for sharing. I will definitely case the mechanism in an upcoming workshop. The german version of "free as a bird" stamp set has instead of your English stamp "hello" the word "kuckuck" which means "peekaboo". I think this would be fund and perfect to go on the inside 😊.

OK, I've made 2 of these & the "iris" inside just seems to be off. In the instructions you said score at 3/4 but you corrected yourself & said 3/8 and that you'd change the instructions. Is 3/8 the correct one or is it 3/4? Thanks, I guess in the long run not closing exactly isn't a big thing but I'd like mine to look like yours. I did use the "happy birthday" sentiment from the Magnolia set. I can send a picture if that would help.
