Sasuke got the biggest character development from OG Naruto to Boruto. He went from an edgy child to a revenge-fueled avenger then friend and finally doting parent and protector. These two episodes are basically a reflection for Boruto and Naruto. Episode 63 was Boruto realizing that his father does more than sitting at a desk, and is more understanding of his position as Hokage. Meanwhile, Episode 64 is Naruto realizing that he hasn't been present in his son's life, and is more understanding of his outbursts. It was great seeing both of them being more understanding of each other.

People tend to overlook episode 64, but that's the episode where Naruto also takes responsibility for his own actions, similar to Boruto taking responsibility for his own actions. It shows that there was a huge misunderstanding between Naruto and Boruto, which is realistic. A naive child will not understand what their parents will go through until they have matured mentally, and parents will assume that their child will understand. Naruto always loved Boruto but didn't know how to go about managing his time with his family and his Hokage duties (at this moment). Boruto also always loved Naruto, but he doesn't want to listen to the same old arguments, even if he knew them deep down. It does show that Boruto was resisting it because he (much like his father) tends to let his emotions get over him. In the end, Boruto and Naruto going through the hardship of a strained family relationship just made their bond even greater in the end, much greater than if they actually got along at the start of the series. It also gives the series the relatability to the audience since these things are issues that even we face today.

Even for them they were forced to grow due to witnessing wars and other horrors. Boruto grew up in an age of peace where he is not forced to mature quickly, hence why he acts his age.
