Well as a sakura fan ( yeah I know im in the minority ) allow me to play devils advocate. 1st i get what u mean about how she was in this fight compared to how badass she was in the sasori fight, but if were being real, she wouldnt have been able to do anything when it came to this battle. she ain't on orochimarus level or naruto's when he's in the cloak form. Its like kabuto said, this was a battle between 2 epic monsters. 2 although it sucked that happened, when it came to her getting knocked out, she literally was looking away from the bright blast that naruto caused and then the moment she looks back in that direction kabuto's bitch ass is flying right in front of her and hits her. And lastly, as jerry was saying, this was sakura's first time seeing naruto like this, a person that she's really grown to care for and consider like a best friend, so out of all the times she's gotten emotional in naruto, I think this is one of the few times where it makes sense and is pretty reasonable, but hey that's just me

@@patricktorres1292 okay the sasori fight she was supported A LOT. Her main asset was strength after chiyo was pretty much controlling the body the entire time. Helping her evade all attacks and protected her on multiple occasions. Now Sakuras strength and antidote was helpful. But all she did was punch twice against the hokage puppet and sasori . Took out a few random puppets. That's it really chiyo was the main one.

The odds were not in his favor. Fighting A legendary sanin and one of the deadliest ninja while naruto goes ape shit, Sakura knocked out, sai doing his own mission. Not only that they needed the nine tails power or else they would be dead.

If we wanna make up reasons why, I would say because Naruto was giving off major chakra to the point that it blowing leaves and stuff away and destroying the floor of the bridge etc. Yamato probably thought it wasn't a good moment to approach him without risking getting injured himself. Then Naruto started fighting Orochimaru, destroyed the bridge, Sai abandoned them to pursue his own mission and Sakura was unconscious. So he had assure her safety first since she's the medical ninja in their group. Yamato knows Naruto suffers injuries when going when covered by the Nine-tails cloak soooo Sakura's safety in definitely number 1 priority in order to help Naruto. Basically if he had ignored Sakura leaving her to fight Kabuto and going for Naruto himself, the risk was larger. Where potentially Sakura, Naruto and himself could/would all be injured and then the mission would come to complete halt since Sai doing his own thing. So the smart thing is make sure Sakura is alright, then both wait for the opportune moment to help Naruto. Which wouldve worked if Sakura wasnt frozen in place by shock and then makes the dumb decision to approach Naruto which then forces Yamato to take action now. They were just lucky Kabuto decided to help them for his and Orochimaru's own selfish reasons and healed Sakura, otherwise the mission wouldve stopped right there. (Plus for us it looked like Naruto and Orochimaru were having stare down for like 20 minutes and then progressed to fight for like another 30 mins but for them all that probably happened in less a few minutes.) 🤣

Hence why Hinata became a more popular character than her and he eventually tried to bring Hinata more into the limelight (thats why we had her confession for Naruto during the pain arc and her moment with him during that war). His error in my opinion was making Sakura a ninja at all. Because then her being a ninja who fights clashes with the typical damsel in distress behavior she has to have when it comes to Naruto and Sasuke. A comparison character would probably be someone like Orihime from Bleach who thinks she can help but then soon is established in the Soul Society Arc as someone who can't and will not fight due to her personality therefore we expect her to be saved. Sakura on the other hand is like a roller coster who thinks she can fight and then realizes she's a damsel in distress and then wants to pretend like she isn't. And as far as Naruto being emotional, its because inner Naruto is probably feeling a certain way, and the Fox takes advantage by convincing him that he needs his power to defeat whoever he's facing. Through the first few arcs of shippuden we don't see this, until he sees Sasuke again and the Fox is feeding inner Naruto's anger/rage/pain by telling him stuff like you need my power again don't you? And in future we find out that's how the Nine-tails planned on freeing himself by slowing giving Naruto chakra til Naruto himself broke the seal which would've happened during the pain arc if it weren't for Minato. So basically Naruto acting stupid in the first few arcs is just the Fox's influence on his inner self so that he can eventually break free.

Samori D if someone has “no bottle” it means they can’t follow through. In every situation where she’s with Naruto or Sasuke, Sakura freezes up and gets caught in her own head, convincing herself she’s not good enough to do anything useful because she always sees herself standing behind them as opposed to alongside them. As a result she never actually does anything useful when she’s around those two, despite her ability reaching kage level by the end of the series
