That WHOLE arrest scene was perfection From Donkey screaming “police brutality! Police brutality To the knights arresting Puss for Catnip. And what’s funny is if you look closely you can see the knight cop pulling the catnip out of his sleeves so it really wasn’t Puss lol And to them “macing” Shrek with a pepper mill as pepper spray 😂 P.S. This movie got banned in certain countries cause of the catnip scene of all things lol

One of the best upgrades from a 1st movie to a 2nd movie ever. Shrek 1 was already a classic and it won best animated film award that same year, and Shrek 2 is even better than that. They even introduced Puss in Boots and who’s one of the best DreamWorks characters ever.

Yall so first off the Director said that when Donkey took the potion Dragon turned into a talking Pegasus. Also towards the end when Puss pulls the cord and drops the water is not pulling a JLo its pulling a Flashdance. That whole video is based off that film.

The writer and director Andrew Adamson confirmed that Dragon turned into a big pink Pegasus but just off screen. Originally, Dragon was going to have a much larger role, but they thought it was unnecessary for the film. She would have had much to say and it would have been difficult to hide her pregnancy. Dragon was going to be one of the characters to free Shrek, Donkey, and Puss in Boots from jail. Mostly, Dragon was cut from the film though still making an appearance at the end with the dragon-donkey hybrid children and Donkey did briefly mention her.

Regarding the Dragon question. In the jnterview they said that they actually intended for Dragon to turn into a Pegasus Unicorn, but found no way to make it relevant to the story, so they just left it out.
