I use my 3090 on 4k for single player games around 60-100 fps and usually use quality DLSS to get closer to 120 I use a lg c1 oled. For shooters I play 1440p on med/high settings and get 160-230 fps and on low I get around 280-330. Depends on games

@@mezz604 there was a 3090 for sell about 120miles from me it was from a Alienware with modified heatsinks on the back it was a bit dirty but apparently still worked ended up passing on it since I could’ve get there and the guy was dealing with a forest fire, dude told me he was posting it on eBay (which I’ve been looking for it) there’s some crazy deals out here more often than not

Hello, I have my Rtx 3090 limited to playing at 0725mv, it gives me a consumption of 190 peak watts of 210. I have the clock at 1590mhz, it only lost 10 fps on average when I use the frame gen, it consumes less watts. It's just a tuner with the good msi, it looks like a gem.

Honestly, the RTX 3090 is no longer worth it, not even the vram justifies its high consumption and price. Rtx 4070S > 3090

yeh no the 4070 power gets beaten in raw power and the 12 gigs of vram was terrible atlease they should made it 18 gigs or 16 gigs

compared my 3090 FTW3 to my wifes 4070 ti super, putting it in my system, I can tell you right now the 4070s, ti super, etc they're NOT worth it unless the game has frame gen. Without it? The card is literally behind the 3090 in A LOT of areas when things are cranked up, depending on resolution and such. In our case? 3440x1440. It either matches or falls behind by 10-20fps depending what I'm playing. If FG is on of course it does better. But with FG I noticed it will stutter randomly in some things too, so I consider that not worth it. The stutter is NOT system related, as it was on her PC too. Mine, 7900x, all high speed M.2's etc.. hers? 5900x and essentially the same. Either way, those cards aren't worth the price. If anyone has a 3090, undervolt it, it'll have the same power draw and remain 60s for the most part as mine does, nice and cool and does just fine. Go 4080S or nothing. Not worth it.
