I like these individual Red Dead 2 gaming benchmarks for your different GPUs. RD2 is still such a detailed game, from its trees, to grass, buildings, animals, just walking on mud footsteps, etc. Pretty much the perfect game to test GPUs at a high graphic rate.

yeah, sometimes it feels to me like that is the Max graphics. in some new titles it becomes very difficult without the markers to see/find anything with so many grass thats wobling around all day. atm in forbiden west..if i hunt animals i must use the sensor to find the dead body on the ground...its just harder to see than in real life.

One of the few gripes I have with RDR2 is that the grass is sooo sparse and lacks density, the grass asset is also just super weird, it’s just like…these big thick green spikes the poke out from the ground haha, and unfortunately there seems to be no hack to increase grass density.

@@Cooler-wh4rg hmmm, i guess it depends what framerate you're trying to target for? With a 1080gtx it is possible to hit that 60fps at 1440p. But, you would have to set a lot of settings on medium to low. For me, i want to avg 120fps + at 1440p. Which i am able to do with my 3080 12GB strix using some of HUB optimized settings.

Hi, Krizzpy! I love your videos! I have a question. I own a 4080 and I've been on a 2560x1440 resolution. Performance was great. I've ordered a new monitor with 3440x1440 and I'm quite concerned whether the 4080 will be strong enough for this resolution and if I'll be able to play games on high/ultra with RT. Or should I upgrade to a 4090 at 3440x1440? What do you think?

Default DLSS version in RDR2 is 2.2, which is pretty old version. If you replace the dlss dll file to new versions (3.5, or 3.7 for example) you will have much better quality, no shimmering etc. It will be better than default native taa. Default taa (even medium taa) is pretty blurry.

Hey kryzzp!!! I just want to let you know that at night time in towns is a lot more intensive so in strawberry at 1440p ultra you get around 70 to 80 ish fps due to the lightning setting set to ultra

Hey @zWORMzGaming I have question. Is there a performance decrease if i have 4x16 gb ram? Currently im running rtx 4070 super, ryzen 7 7800x3d and 2x16 ddr5 6000 mhz. Best 1440p card on the market. However as always with Nvidia youre disappointed with the amount of VRAM. They are allergic to giving you how much you pay for. Should be a 16GB card!

That's why it's better to use resolution scale. I'm on standard 4070 and on 1.750x resolution scale the game looks sharp as a knife, looks gorgeous and still maintains ~65 FPS.

What I dislike heavily about RDR2 was you the fact someone can assault or shoot at you and nothing happens to them ….. no one will shoot back at them etc ….. but you just bump into someone and you’re up on assault charges etc

@@Defeft its not 40 series but an rtx 3080 FE, before i had gtx 1080 fe and that gpu was also terribly hot, i googled and every1 online says that FE (founders edition) gpu always get hot and now after watching this video im wondering how is Krizzpy keeping FE edition GPU temps low. My CPU temps on max load are 73c which is normal. If i edit the fan speed of gpu from msi afterburner to max than gpu cools down but the fan makes jet engine noise, why default fan speed isn't good enough to cool down the GPU

Not really, most people on the 40 series have already upgraded to AM5, LGA 1700 or the 5800X3D, all CPUs in those platforms will get pretty much the same FPS as mine.

Depends if you use DLSS at 4K, DLSS quality is actually 1440p internally, and it goes lower with each preset, introducing CPU limits, just get a 7800X3D and call it a day.

Never use reshade unless you want to destroy original art style, but optimised settings are the ONLY way to play this game, even on a 4090.

The 4070S is very fast in Blender, but it is not so fast in games, it cant even handle the Witcher 3 NG with ray tracing at 1080p, it needs to use DLSS quality 1440p=960p with frame smoothing to get a 60fps with max settings. I am disappointed in that. Otherwise it is good for blender and it can handle almost all games at 1080p some with ray tracing on at 960p, 720p and 480p Cyberpunk is 480p if you want ray tracing, but Nvidia would not sell any cards if they said the 4070s is the perfect ray tracing card at 480p or if you are lucky 720p.

Nice troll and I assume you liked your own comment ? 4070S crushes 1440p gaming and can handle native 4k gaming in plenty of titles, this channel tested it in plenty of games. Cyberpunk with ultra raytracing also runs at well over 60fps at 1080p without dlss/FG. Only with pathtracing it has to use dlss quality to get 60fps at 1080p and you should know how demanding pathtracing is, it literally cuts your framerate to 1/4 turning it on at ultra raster settings.

@@dhaumya23gango75 Mine dose not I can prove it even, mine 4070S cant run Cyberpunk at 1440p native DLAA and RT ultra and 60 fps it will run that at about 30-40fps and with DLSS P 60 fps. and DLSS=P @1440p is =720p and even then it still struggles to keep it at 60fps. and it is not my CPU my cpu can give me above 100fps if i play at low settings no RT. So fanboy call me a troll. When its true.

This runs good for me on my 4070 but when i go into st denis i get little crawls in performance, Not sure why, Lil nags in valentine etc, not in towns, is fine, I had none of these issues with my 2080ti, My friend says its down to a lack of optimization on newer gpu's .
