Drop dead pretty build - it's like a work of art. I thought I read that using a vertical GPU mount had a negative impact on PCI lanes? Maybe that's AMD not Intel, can't remember? Wondering about fan noise with that many fans but wow. What is the airflow like on that case? You did an amazing job building this rig, wonder why no 4090 was it a 'color' issue that made you go with 4080? The only thing better than your build skills was the video production - truly top-drawer!

That’s a lot of pull fans. Technically 10 exhaust fans and 3 intake. Personally I would’ve done the verticals 3 fans intake. 6 intake, 7 exhaust instead of 3 intake and 10 exhaust. Cool build tho!

More air out than in, Means less dust in machine. As long as it has sufficient cooling. More air out is best.

almost same build I did. Only difference is I used Corsair h150 with lcd upgrade side mounted push pull, the v2 24 and 8 pin strimers and mine uses the vision 3080. First time build in the evo case and I ran out of room because I top mounted my psu... and I have like 4 controllers and a hub behind the scene to get rgb linked in icue software. Seeing how the cables going through the case routing pathways are hidden by the top mount push pull I wish I would have done that because thats the only thing I don't like on mine is the visible routing pathways.

Was there a reason for going with the single fans instead of triple packs with controllers? My pc wouldnt turn on with the controller plugged in tried 3 different ones. Was forced to rebuy single packs just to make it work. Just wondering if you had bad experience with their controller as well. Or anyone else that sees this.

Omg, almost same as mine, only I use air cooler Noctua nh-d15s, previously AIO already remove, I thought I’m crazy enough to put the Gpu upright mounting with another 3 exhaust fans behind the Gpu, top same as yours 6 fans, but the 6 side fan correct? Those single lian-li fans come without the controller, how do you connect everything on the mobo? I`m about to order 1 three pack with controller + 7 single fans. I was assuming this is the only way it would work with L connect software. i`m struggling to understand the options i have. Three fans with controller are about the same price as three single fans without the controller + extra cables. I don't get it.

why so many exhaust fans lmfao. those side fans need to be intake or you need to move the gpu aio to the bottom set to intake and the cpu aio on the side set to intake and have some exhaust fans up top, this will build up dust so quickly and temps wont be optimal

The GPU radiator should be moved to the front panel fan location… having a rad below the pump is a sure proof way to kill your pump prematurely!

The gpu's radiator is placed at the side, not at the bottom. Watch carefully. About the pump location, as long as it's not at the highest point of the loop (which is not) then it's fine.

5:38 why does this case mounting rack has these circular dents on the fan frame right in the place where the screws should attach? I had the same issue, what a stupid design, the first and last fan have a useless screw because of that.

Having my exhaust fans than intakes means there is less dust build up in the machine. But yes, I was always of the belief that neutral or positive air flow was always best. But maybe he can make up for that by having radiators?🤷

Amazing video man just had a few questions. 1) in your opinion is the “MSI MPG Z790 Edge Wi-Fi DDR5 Motherboard” considered one of the best. I’m going for a really high end build and I love it’s design but have heard things like “really bad BIOS” And 2) in terms of th SSD I was looking at is the “Samsung 980 PRO M.2 PCI-E Gen4 NVMe SSD 2TB” a good one to have. I’ve seen there’s a 990 pro but it’s just a little too pricey imo. So sorry for rambling on man but if you were able to answer these questions words could not express my gratitude :) Instant like a sub plz keep these types of videos coming

MSI literally top 1 or top2 when it comes to BIOS. ASUS and MSI Kingston KC3000 is a very good alternative to Samsung 980 Pro. Bang for the buck under 100USD for 1TB

Its called a push-pull configuration. The bottom side pushes air through the radiator while the top side pulls air through the radiator so it can be better cooling then having 1 row of fans. It all depends on how hot the case gets after the air goes through the GPU etc though

@@Simucoc3 No its not, you are just not understanding it properly. The fans on the bottom push air through the radiator, the fans on top of the radiator pull air through the radiator. So the air from the case gets pushed by the fans on the bottom while it also gets pulled by the fans on top.
