It won't the most important part will be the raytracing power and neither AMD nor Intel can deliver on that. My 4070 ti super almost has double the rt power of my 3070 and the 5070 ti will probably double that almost again. It doesn't matter that raster only goes up by 15-25%. Raytracing is where all the future lies.

@@meyatetana2973 Why the 4070 ti super is fine for 1440p the 4080 only offers 8% more power in time spy and 9,5% more in port royal benchmark(I overclocked mine heavily) there is not that much difference. Important is the 16 gb of vram my bandwith is even higher than that of a 4080 due to 15% vram overclock. And with a 4070 non ti you can easily play max pathtracing in 1080p in every game. The only 4k card is 4090 while 4080/super and 4070 ti super are the only 1440p ones. All other 4070s like normal ti and normal 4070 are for 1080p max pathtracing and 4060 is for non pathtracing 1080 or 1440p.

As an insider of a co that i can't reveal. AMD and Nvidia's competition is deliberate. There's no killing but more of a cold-shoulder professional unwritten collaboration against....intel. RTX 5000 series is going to be lit and just wait for the good news, and enjoy AMD as well, if you like it. It's more of a showhand move at a calculated timing from Nvidia which is awesome.

Nah Not with the pricing and the lack of upgrading. Just look at the 4080 it's pathetic when compared to their 4070ti and they'll probably be above 1000 dollars so unless they artifically decrease the prices they ain't killing AMD and they certainly aren't going to hurt Intel.
