I wonder if you will go over the events in the novel Original Gundam Story Inner Gundam Space of Ageta when you finish History of Gundam Origin or do a short that go over the bridge between the Zeta and Double Zeta the MSA-014 Σ Gundam (RX-183 Sigma Gundam) from the novel?

Kycilia's characterization really is the most bizarre change for the Origins continuity. She feels like a female version of Dozle rather than a cold-hearted opportunist who callously uses her subordinates as chess pieces to try and fulfill her ambition of supplanting Gihren. Honestly, i would much rather have the canonical child-Kycilia who knew Char's identity because she was friends with Casval.

Yeah making her a child would make so much more sense. They even did a story with JOhnny Ridden and Kycilia as children (even though it technically was propaganda) so it can be done. So weird.

I think all of the changes in characterizations is bizarre in The Origin. I mean, Amuro was whiny but angry, demonstrated that despite him clearly being a son of a rich dad and having everything served to him since ever he still had fighting in him, wich was the most important thing to him being able to pilot the Gundam, in The Origin he is way more passive and kinda naive in a bad way, he constantly looks surprised with stuff and barely is confrontative, he really doesn't look like someone who would pilot the Gundam under those conditions and succed. Also the anime had too many shouting people, like, I felt like every other scene was someone for no good reason shouting what they could have said in normal voice. P.S: Also Amuro being so angry in the anime may also be for hinting that the he is divorce child (even though I don't think his parents are divorced they just don't live together anymore?), he hates the situation he is in with a torn family, also he is demonstrated to be anti-social, not in the sense he doesn't like human interaction, but he doesn't "get" human interaction, like with the advances of Fraw or his other friends he gets to know from the White Base he never really evolved beyond just fighting comrades, all of this is lost in the Origin.

The funny thing that pissed me off the most was that Amuro built Haro in the original and in Origin, it was just a kit you buy at a store. I don't know why that pissed me off the most, but it does more so than Amuro's characterization haha

⁠@@simplynewtypeHaro being a pre-existing Toy was a Sunrise addition in the supplement lore books around the late 90s. Origin was never the one to start this change, it simply used the canonical stance that Sunrise established and is still being pushed to this day.
