Even with the regen abilities and if he wasnt dying from mirandas death that bomb definitely would have been enough to kill him for good leaving nothing left

Initially I didn’t envelop so much empathy with this character, but every time I played the game bit by bit I get very affectionate to him, Ethan is a true hero, I thought he was dead before and you needed to fight mother Miranda with Chris but he fight all monsters and did the last battle for his daughter and he won, badass.

Hell even Leon was just a normal dude before the incident. Broke up with his girlfriend, and wanted to do a good thing so he became a cop and had the actual worst first day ever then got blackmailed into being a government agent for life. Chris, at least had military training, so combat being his entire life isn’t totally out of pocket.
