When she calls for Cassandra at 2:41 it sounds so much softer and more gentle. I like to think that she probably realized she had been a bit harsh on Cassandra when she told her to find Ethan and was going to apologize to her. Which is why her shock and despair was greater, the last time she spoke to her daughter she was harsh and snappy. Cassandra's last interaction with her mother was one where Alcina wanted to make up for but never got a chance to. Hurts man.

She then tells her “You are my daughter, now start acting like it!” To which Cassandra responds “Of course, Mother”. Then after killing the second daughter and you cross Lady Dimitrescu’s path again, she’ll say “It was cold, wasn’t it Daniella”

@@xxliaz9068 Miranda and Alcina took three women (don't know if they were corpses at the moment) and had some mutated flies nesting in their flesh, drying out the bodies until they look mummified. Then the flies took human shape around the dried out bodies and created Alcina's daughters. The Dimitrescu daughters are an amalgam of flies, which is why you can't shoot them at first, the bullet passes through. However they are very sensitive to cold. It's not so much Ethan that kills them, rather than the cold killing the flies one after the other until the daughter can't keep her shape and simply dies out (Of course, for the sake of game mechanics you need to attack them). It's also why Lady Dimitrescu is not affected by the cold herself.

Usually in games or shows, the villain never cares for their children. Alcina loves her daughters and is genuinely angry and upset when you kill them. Thats one reason I believe she was so 'easy' to kill. Because she was so emotional and angry over her daughters, she lost it, and went full crazy mold. You get to her weak point and she will lead her own destruction.

How they move around and attack, react to what you do and how they make their decisions. The reason I said "it's an AI thing" is because the way she pauses between slashes like that when you're not active is part of her programming. Because if she just relentlessly and constantly hit at you, it'd just be frustrating- So she needs a rest period, or otherwise for it to be a reaction to the player. Just like, y'know, game mechanic stuff.

Man i feel so bad for Alcina. In the game you can find a note where alcina says she had loved them from the moment they saw each others. She saw them as her very own flesh and blood daughers. I mean she is a vampire so she likely spent years and years alone and like she said she put blood sweat and tears into raising them and has love for them. She even says in her boss fight "why should you have your daugher when you killed MY daughers". It's interesting to see ethean going through hell for his child and family but doesn't hesitate to kill Alcina's children. It really does show how a parent's love will make them lay their lives down for their kids but obvi has no hesitation for hurting another person's kid(s) she is also the only character who actually feels like a real person with feelings

I was hoping that Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters would have a big role in this game. The fact that their just first area bosses is disappointing. I know Capcom didn't think Lady Dimitrescu would become so popular but with how everyone was focusing on her it seemed like she was Mother Miranda's second in command. It's not their fault that she became so popular and it played a part in having high expectations. Who knows, maybe they'll make DLC or find some way to bring them back. I thought the whole Eveline/mold thing was over with in 7 but nope. Edit: Capcom confirmed that their will be DLC by popular demand which most likely means more content with Lady D. It'll be a while since they said they just began development.

Idk what’s more ironic: the fact that three near-immortal vampire daughters were killed by a mortal human father looking for his own daughter or the fact that they probably wouldn’t have died in the first place if Ethan realized sooner that Rose wasn’t present (well sort of) in the castle... EDIT AND *SPOILERS* : Apparently Ethan is just as (immortal?) as the rest of the monsters in this game due to the mold infection he got from Evelyn in Biohazard. Although he still seems to be pretty vulnerable and can still die if his heart isn’t intact (as noted from a scene much later on in the game).
