Love that you keep it real. Anyone who knows the grind knows it’s just that. A grind. Can’t stand when dudes act like they just jump in the boat. Real passion right there

I literally just bought that lure today before I seen this video. Gives me an idea on how to use it in my area n gives me some confidence. That's an awesome color btw. I have it in the medussa n gonna need a new one soon. Today's Angler walleye color is a must for me. No luck yet on the horseshoe bucktail Robbie maybe something soon will eat it

I am 1 for 15 on hooking fish that bite the mini boilermaker this year, it’s the only bait I can get action on but the hook up ratio is rough lol
@TodaysAngler5 жыл бұрын
You can add a 3 or 4/0 hook to the front on 2 split rings to the wire shaft between the middle four beads.

Casting a fly is not cheating! Traditional fly gear is designed to go 4 feet deep max. That works on rivers but on lakes you need to cover more vertical.
@mikevincent52605 жыл бұрын
You can get a fly much deeper than 4 feet
@ssm595 жыл бұрын
Yes Mike you can but you cannot do so very efficiently. What this is able to be done on rivers, lakes or a different animal. These are my words they were the observations of Gary Borger Fly guy Par excellence. Even Kelly Gallop agrees with this. I live in Montana and have lots of occasion to dredge for large trout. Beyond 4 feet in non moving water you can cover water More efficiently rigging a drop shot And casting. I know there are a lot of purists out there, I used to be one of them. But unless you can afford to spend tons of time on the water you’ll be more rewarded by efficiency then you will be by technique.
@mikevincent52605 жыл бұрын
I can agree with that 👍
