Are the semi slicks good for dh?

They're definitely a special conditions tire for DH racing and require a rider very comfortable with front wheel braking since the rear tire has such low profile knobs. It's a great bike park tire and perfect for the pedally DH stages like Cairns. When you can get away with the SS you'll be blazing fast down the hill.
