Used the Bt-45 on a CB750, 3 sets. Now a BT-46 first set (Moto Guzzi V7), with about 3 mm tread left. Officially allowed to keep driving till 1.6 mm. Total miles driven so far is 13000, that is 20900 km. I guess I can go to all the way to 15000 miles without problems. But I see some cracking between the thread. It is time to swap them for new pair. BT-46 are lovely tires. Maybe I drove to many moments without correct tire pressure. To low tire pressure that is.

I run Bridgestones on both bikes (xt660z Tenere & 1984 Goldwing). Love them!!! (Tenere came with Metzler Tourance. Had couple sets of them but they seemed to square off awful quick. Switched to Bridgestone Battlax A41. Dual compound. Huge mileage including lots of boring motorway sections - 👍👍👍 And MUCH better handling.) BTW- looks like you got your moneys worth out of that rear!🤣🤣

I was a bit sceptical at first with the Bridgestones (don't know why), but after just couple of miles I was bought! Yeah, that stock Pirelli went above and beyond, but the funny story is that they were perfectly fine, and all of the sudden they went down very badly, very quickly... Oh well, I'm on them BT46s and never looking back! ;) |Artur

@@2T2R2 Hey how are the BT46s holding up? I keep coming back to them for my 1980 Xj650. My bike currently has an old Chen Shing tire on the front and Kenda Kruz on the back. I'm a little worried the BT46 might give it a look I don't really want. I like the tires that look a little more "off road" even though they might not be. Also worried how the BT46 would handle grave/dirt roads and some rocks (I ride it into the woods to go somewhere). Hard to find any good reviews talking about how they handle that stuff. Thanks!

The tires are keeping up perfectly, the performance is still there, they've never let me down. I personally wouldn't go offroad with them BT46's, I don't think they're meant for that kind of a job. Also if you wouldn't like the look, that's not exactly the tire you should go for. But that's just my opinion! |Artur

You use tubes on those bt46?
@2T2R23 ай бұрын
Hi! Yes I do. Even though the tyres themselves are tubeless, the rims for the 2019 RE Continental 650 are spoked, and not suited to use without tubes straight from the factory. You could mod the rims to be tubeless, but I've never bothered. | Art

@@2T2R2 how many km have you done on tube+bt46? Im thinking to get the same setup for my gt650…
@2T2R23 ай бұрын
@azizulzulzaha usually around 6-7k miles, so that's 10-11k km, roughly. Quite nice if you ask me :) | Art

I'm looking to put these on my gt650, did you keep the same tyre sizes as the stock Pirellis?
@2T2R22 жыл бұрын
Hi Kyle, the front is the same, the rear is a bit bigger, beeing 140 instead of stock 130, the exact model is 14070 18 67H TL |Artur
