I only retwist with eco styler and water too ( winter I add oil)! you watch videos and see so many different products, I wanted the most natural way so I would have very little build up. I LOVE LOC LIFE. Nice to see someone else using the same products

To get the Rubber bands out easy use a letter Opener. The Razor will make the rubber bands come out super easy.

i am new to locs, i would like to know , after you retwisted will the new growth thicken like the rest of your hair, cause the newgrowth look thinner than the ends, its like having 2 types of hair texture..

Yes the new growth is thinner because the loc collects hair that should've been shed. It will eventually even out. The roots will always look different though.

I was still very fuzzy at 2 years as well. I would suggest palm rolling and smoothing them out a bit while they are wet with a oil to minimize frizz.
