Carriage replaced, first describing the rollers on which the carriage moves. The operation of the non-return pawl is demonstrated. After the carriage is in place, the carriage transport pawl is correctly placed with its spring. The carriage return spring is reinstalled and the base replaced.
The restoration is complete! The concluding Part 18 will be a demo of the machine.
