NOT the Beatles, even admits the first vocal is not, , paul sang on seventeen and others but its not the Beatles playing...way too good for their ability at the time...the other Hamburg tapes were not them PLAYING either

This was December 1962, compare with the 1963 BBC versions 6 months later. Same arrangements same players. Tracks 1 and 3 have guest vocalists.

Hi there, Elvis! Glad you could make it! Tracks 1 and 3 have guest vocalists, but I assure you the rest of it is 100% unadulterated Beatles!

McCartney was born, "AMAZING!" Not only was his voice in fine form back then, but he'd only been playing the bass for only about 12 to 13 months.

The garage band that took over the world and changed it forever.
@AdrianLee-ho1dsАй бұрын
Actually, it's not a garage band at all. Working class Britons of those days didn't have garages attached to their houses. They learnt their chops by playing in front of live audiences in pubs and clubs. They literally had nowhere to practice, unlike their wealthy American cousins.

If you think about it, they were making fun of Stuart and Pete before this. As is often the case when they are young, they grew up in a port town and are naturally mischievous. But on the outside, they were all good, and even when the Beatles were on bad terms in their later years, when Billy Preston came to visit them at the studio, they suddenly became good kids. In the early days of the Beatles, the reason why they were so close like magic may be due to the addition of new member Ringo Starr. In that sense, Ringo was the final piece.

There will always be Ringo doubters. Is he the flashiest drummer in the world? No. Is he a Peart, Moon, Baker or Purdie? No, but the Beatles weren't that kind of band. The Anthology recordings prove Best wasn't that good. Let's put it into these terms: The Beatles ASKED Ringo to join, he didn't come looking for job. By this point the Beatles knew they were onto something good and getting Ringo into the fold was a way to make them even better. It's a no-brainer, folks. An extra added bonus was Ringo's personality and sense of humor. He fit in PERFECTLY with the others. Sorry Pete, but it's all true.
