Man this looks really good, I bought this same helmet a while back. This is a awesome modification on a inexpensive helmet that really makes it look like a pricier helmet. I might have to do this 👌

i think it is cool. i got tons of rubies stuff. batman costumes etc. i know it is not the best but i still like it. i like these helmets. and it looks cool. i just got my first star wars helmet. i got the rubies storm trooper helmet and i just did a unboxing today and i show how well it was packed. etc. i wear it. do photos of it. and show the inside. i would like a x wing pilot helmet also. i like how you modded the other helmet.

I’m sure it will look great. I just ordered my tie fighter helmet from amazon yesterday. I’m going to try and get it to look as good as yours. I’m also making a stormtrooper Armor, getting ready for San Diego Comic Con.

Scout Trooper helmet actually has a 3.4 out of 5 star rating on Amazon.ca Doesn't look TOO BAD to me..?

What paint did you use ? And what clear, I'm wanting to eventually convert one to an atat pilot but I want to rebuild the first one like you did.. thanks

I don't remember, .. I used just spray paint I bought at walmart.. I sprayed silver on to some cardboard and dipped my brush in it.. I don't buy regular paint from a bottle. I'll check my stock later and see if I can remember what brand I used. Sorry couldn't be much help. Still was a easy job to complete.

I just got it I am planning on doing a costume on a tie pilot I am so excited also can I make it 501st approved ?

I'm not sure on the 501st, but I did see a video on this same helmet before where the guy... Who said he was in the 501st, and it could be made into a approved helmet, but I'm not sure what changes would need to be done. My helmets I can tell you displays well and looks cool. Good luck on your project.

Is this rubies helmet super big? I’ve heard it is. Will it work ok for just a costume that’s not screen accurate? Thanks!

Yes, not 501st, but still decent. You could pair it up with a black jumpsuit and boots for a fun costume.

I'm sorry, I don't do commission, but it's really easy to do. I'll try to post another video by next week and I'll go over the process again. But it is really easy.... I'm not a painter and really a novice at it. I may also be selling the helmets later in the year as now I'm not using them and there in storage.
