Tymon is just too clutch and after finals in an interview he said after the 8 I knew if I think about that 8 it's over so I just locked in and went one solve at a time, I was so focused I didn't even know the avg was sub 5. That is insane dedication and focus which is so hard to maintain under that kinda pressure

@@alexcallender Tymon and Yiheng are definitely the two best cubers in the world atm. They used to be on par with each other, but now the gap isn’t even close. Tymon has more experience so maybe he can deal with pressure better in the big comps, who knows. But Yiheng owns like 37/50 of the top 3x3 averages, whereas Tymon has 9/50. Yiheng has 9 averages faster than Tymon’s best average. It’s actually crazy when you look at the stats. Also, as of today, Yiheng has been to 50 comps and Tymon has been to 149, so Yiheng has actually done fewer official solves. If Tymon can get his TPS to be as crazy as his solutions, maybe he can close the gap again
