I would advice to use the serum by mixing a few drops into the moisturizer so that there is no chance of any side effects... However on a broad spectrum range in cosmetic formulations they are pretty safe

You have so much knowledge. I wanted to know how to best layer the minimalist products for anti aging and your video has been insightful. I wish there were products that had a stable mixture of several actives, other than a single-purpose one as in minimalist. In India, we don't have great physical sunscreens that are free from silicones and cosmetically elegant. Zinc oxide and iron oxide are a winning combination and don't require a foundation to be used separately. Many skin-care companies abroad have introduced such combinations.....I wonder when such formulations will manifest in India.

@@RubinaSkincare ​As silicones can be occlusive, i get bumps on my face. Had to give up Neutrogena sheer zinc as it has a ton of silicones. Even though Shiseido wetforce zinc sunscreen uses silicones, its formulation is way superior than Neutrogena and i never had a problem with. I have found an affordable decent zinc based sunscreen from MomsCo which does not use silicones but it leaves a strong white caste. I use a powder foundation to cover the whiteness. I use powder foundation from Ecoberry and Tinge.

I'm a new peptide serum user. My skin is combination sensitive. Recently I bought a peptide serum from The Derma Co, and it's stinging my face every time I use it. I've used it on a clean face and followed it up with a moisturizer, and it has stung. I've even used it after the Cosrx Snail Mucin essence, and it has still stung. I'm keeping it simple and not using any other actives with it, but it's still painful. It isn't leading to any inflammation or textures, but I just wanted to know whether peptide serums in general are supposed to sting or not. And if not, then what am I doing wrong and how can I use the serum properly so that it doesn't sting.

Hi maam I messaged minimalist brand regarding this peptide serum they told me that bio placenta is safe to use if you have warts / moles bio placenta does not increase pigmentation, warts or causes skin cancer all such issues are not caused by growth factor (present in bio placenta) it is related to overexpression of growth factor receptor .cell mutation lead to growth factor overexpression or overactivity and these have been associated with cancers and growth factor themselves dont lead to receptor overexpression moreover EGF is approved to be used upto 10 ppm and this product the concentration is 7 times lesser than this recommended limit making it completely safe. ...

Hi Ruby , I want to include this in my skincare routine however there are few things in my mind which I would like to clerify 1) My grandfather died out of cancer , my dad had a tumor above the kidneys which is now removed however he has a lot of skintags and bumps on his neck and back. Good question scarlet. With acne you will have so many other products to stop the acne that I am not if you would want to complicate it further by adding EGFs.
