awesome, thanks, base on Munsell, the Italian Burnt Sienna is warmer (8.75R), French is 9.75R (so a little more yellower) So if I'm painting caucasian/European I will definitely use French burnt sienna, for asian (yellower brownish, olive skin) I will use Italian, I will buy two now, thanks.

This series is very interesting. I really love learning about pigments and their properties. What better source of rich pigment knowledge that Rublev!

How can I avoid the humidity absortion of the the clay content from the Burnt Sienna. I know Mars colours don't have that problem, thought I prefer the singularities from earth colours. I have been using a wax medium to prevent that, but I'm not sure if lead white and wax medium is enough because I live in the tropics

Use lead white (but not wax) as lead white is strongly hydrophobic and will offset any issues caused by pigments with clay content.

Oleogel is a linseed oil gel that is ideal for glazing, and it is solvent-free: www.naturalpigments.com/oleogel.html
