17:15 - Shari refers to Ruby as "Ruby" (and not with any "mother" connotation). That says a lot about how she (rightfully) feels about her after all this.

years ago we let children smoke, made them work and made them take medicine with heroin and cocaine in it. Now it’s a horrifying thought. I hope same will be said in the future for children online, whose parents exploit and violate their right to being raised in privacy and safety.
@Nana2KCASBO28 күн бұрын
Sherri is such a bright light! She lights up the room with her presence. After YEARS of calling CPS I’m so grateful that the children are now safe. It was BEYOND frustrating when CPS repeatedly said: “There’s no evidence….” So many years of tears, anger, frustration, calls, appointments and absolutely NO APOLOGIES! I pray for their healing and pray they find comfort in loving arms. The aunts & uncles need to be looked at as well KNOWING this was going on yet stayed silent. I’ll continue to pray for all involved…

I firmly believe that the abuse did not start when Hildibrandt entered the picture. There are examples of the awful way Franke treated her kids that she herself posted to her channel (like letting her 6 y.o. kid starve for forgetting to pack her lunch, denying her son use of his own bedroom), and her husband was either complicit or a participant in regards to the abuse. If my kids were taken from me by my spouse, you'd better believe I'd move heaven and earth to make sure I see them as often as possible. The father here is just trying to save face.
@TheGymnast71Ай бұрын
sorry not sorry. Kevin Franke is SO guilty. He knew that his wife was abusing his kids. He was totally part of it. He should never get custody of these children.
@elizabethkettle232321 күн бұрын
How could he deserve custody when he openly admitted to abandoning them - no legal or personal effort to maintain any contact with the kids, and showed zero concern when told of his kids' condition, still zero when told more of the situation. Just asked how his wife was. At bare minimum, abused and neglected children should not be entrusted to a parent who neglected his duty of care and still seems to see nothing wrong with that, and had no concern when he learned of Ruby's neglect and abuse of them. The reality is that his maintaining contact with the children would have made it very difficult for Ruby to get away with what she did. Unless, of course, he would have knowingly allowed it, which, come to think of it, migh have been the case.

Law and Crime repeatedly showed the kids faces (without any blur) throughout the trial - even after youtube had already taken the videos down. Specifically Sidebar with Jesse Weber did it constantly. Law and Crime, maybe you should make a policy not to show minor victims faces anymore

I feel horrible that lifetime is making a movie about what happened to these poor, innocent kids just one year ago after they’ve ALREADY had no right to privacy, been exploited all over social media by their parents, then nearly died at the hands of their own mother, a ‘therapist’ and their negligent father. Its not even like this happened a decade ago, this was last year & it’s another experience of someone taking their stories, telling & profiting off of them with NO care or second thought for how that affects kids that have been through enough for ten lifetimes & should be allowed to focus on healing. This is re-traumatizing & victimizing. Unbelievable!!

Why is there always a years-long record of CPS knowing about the situation before anything gets done?
@Halloween11128 күн бұрын
Right? CPS is happy to help a disgruntled parent harass another on flimsy accusations during a bad divorce. Actual severe cases of abuse its "Meh, we might have to do our jobs on this one. Can't have that." Family court is usually no better and often makes things worse.

I so agree with her ❤ it took me until my 20s to realize i deserved a better mom, that i would never treat my children like she did. I used to admire her just for meeting our basic needs as a single mom, i didnt realize i deserved actual love and that i've never felt it from her. It's a huge process unraveling all of that

I really hope Sheri doesn’t let this die. With the new age of social media there should absolutely be laws regarding children on social media, specifically parents exploiting them. This could really be a turning point in creating some new laws for protecting children on social media.

Sad that her two middle siblings chose to live with strangers thru DCF than live with their sister due to their brain washing. This poor girl. Maybe the two middle sisters are still busy cleaning Pams house for free because she told them to. So many nasty adults surrounding these kids, including Ruby's siblings such as Bonnie
@Camy-200413 күн бұрын
I mean it's bad enough Shari is just a young adult so she definitely doesn't have the means to take all her siblings, but in case she does, I hope she gets all the money Mommy mearest made from exploiting all of them to help her raise her siblings Also yeah, all of Ruby's siblings need to get investigated. The kids there also need help...

@TuzeTeaАй бұрын
it is SO messed up that you have a person who is telling you through her first hand experience that this ruined her life, it's ruining the lives of other children, you have very obvious gaps in service where failures are leading to the very preventable unaliving of children but, you know, this is a state where people don't want legislation tell us how to parent... we just love us some libertarianism... If the laws don't have the right to act when free speech becomes abuse of children then your system needs an overhaul. This is not ok

I wonder if anyone else who’s a GenXer like me can’t stand the ‘influencer’ culture. What Ruby Frankie ended up doing with her family is horrific, but I’m talking in general. The whole influencer culture to me. It’s just so weird & gross

The video and the call to the police from the neighbor remain one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever seen and heard. That little boy was courageous. I hope that each of the Franke children continue to have professional support, and that they will be able to trust people again one day, and have nothing but happiness in their futures. They have already suffered enough.
