To be completely honest as a manga reader, I don’t know if THAT excited for a s3 if it happens, I mean we are gonna get some key moments in s3, but overall s3 will probably only be a Set Up season for s4. And If anything s3 will probably be tied with s1 and 2 for the Weakest season of the series.

So I think some of the filler portion is going to be skipped like Ruby's manager's arc and not to mention all the chapters afterwards are shorter as compared to the prior ones so it is possible that the next season could be the last if adapted smartly. Manga is also ending soon

No you got it backwards. The middle schooler (at the time of Gorou's death) was the stalker/killer and the college guy was their father. The stabbing happened when Aqua and Ruby were around 5-6 years old so middle schooler age + 6 years = college student age which is Ai's killer.

I feel like Ruby having 2 stars permanently dark is meant to show she's fallen into despair a lot deeper than Aqua had considering he only had one star which occasionally went black Also a cool detail in the music video is how certain shots Ruby's eyes were black and others they where normal. This is meant to show how some scenes were shot after finding Aqua's old body after Ruby had her change

Their dad is the middle schooler. But middle school age ends at about 15ish in Japan so Ai was only a year older than him probably. But the really weird thing is that we know the other actor is their half brother and his mom was an adult married woman, so she had an affair with a 15 year old... the murder suicide thing makes a lot of sense with that context.

The animators really did a great job with Ruby. They did it a thousand times better than in the manga 👌. That evil smile of Ruby's is chilling but at the same time it invites you to fall into the darkness with her in a happy way. Ruby with that evil smile is on another level, she looks very cool and chilling at the same time, her black eyes are so powerful. I think that Ruby got that of her father, welp her father also laughs in a chilling and evil way. On the other hand, I think that Aqua got that of Ai in that sense since Aqua and Ai are not doing so much evil smiles.

It’s almost like the light and darkness in Ai has to exist within Aqua and Ruby and as the darkness leaves Aqua it takes shape in Ruby. While it’s nice to see Aqua not clouded by negative emotions I really hope he doesn’t lose sight of what’s really important to him. Really worried about Ruby. The last two episodes with her were spooky.

They could not have done this episode more perfectly. As a manga reader this episode is peak and I mean it!!!!! From Ruby’s dark arc tease and the 15 year lie and many other teases I can’t talk about. Truly an amazing season finale. I just feel bad for the hardcore anime onlys who have to fight the will of reading the manga for one year at least. :) What I will say about what comes next. Season 1 was the introduction season 2 was just “set up” and season 3 will be were the story REALLY picks up

Aqua was originally going to end their relationship, but her crying must have changed his decision and now she's probably going to feel guilt in keeping the secret about Aqua's dad hidden not just for his wellbeing but also so their relationship can continue on.

The college student was the obsessed fan/stalker that killed Ai. I believe they said in the first episode of S1 that he took his own life afterwards. The middle-schooler was the other child, who we presume is the father now. If that is true, that would mean that their father was actually around the same age as Ai, and not too much older, which I think was the original theory posed in the show early on.

They tell us who the college student is and show us his face in this episode, and we also see his face in episode 1. That leaves the second person, who I think most people would presume the other guy who's the middle-schooler and clearly has the same hair as Aqua and Ruby is the father. I don't fault you for what you're implying, since I've seen all too well people who like to feign ignorance and post spoilers disguised as theories, especially when it involves shows that I have read source and I know how unlikely it is to come to certain conclusions. But I';m not one of them and this isn't something a conclusion that's particularly hard to come to.

As mentinoed bellow, the college student is the one who died, it was already mentioned during Aqua's little monologue at the end of the first episode that the person who stabbed Ai and killed him was a college student. So, the middle schooler was the smaller one. They nailed mangekyou sharingan Ruby in that scene, but I also really liked the MV, with it being all idol cutsey, but then you have a super dark Ruby every now and then! I'm glad to have accompanied your reactions through this season, as this is my favorite manga/anime atm. Sad that it is over, but glad there will be a season 3, so looking foreward to your reactions to it (it's gun be wild 👀)!!! 🤩

Just some context from this episode and what we already know about Himekawa. The raven girl revealed that there was a middle school boy and a college student present at the scene, the stalker does look about the age of a university student. We know Himekawa is 4 years older than Aqua, if both Ai and the father were 15/16 when Ai was pregnant, 4 years before when Himekawa was made would make the father around 11 years old.

Whether you love or hate the father with a passion, it's undeniable that he is easily one of the best characters in the entire story and without him as the main antagonist Oshi No Ko wouldn't be even close to as good as it really is. Everyone leading up to his reveal thought the father must be this typical evil and irredeemable murderer who we shouldn't give his personal story the time of day. The dad completely destroys that idea as he's by far the most complex character, whether people like it or not. There's a reason this guy actually visited Ai's grave with flowers at hand despite being the one responsible for her death. Excited to see the anime catch up to the manga, and we see the fathers full tale revealed.

Every character deserves a backstory whether they’re inherently evil or not otherwise what’s even the point of writing an antagonist when you’re not gonna explore his character in depth? Lol inherently evil characters can also be well written ex- Griffith(Berserk) so just putting it out there although I’m not denying the points that you made.

This movie acted as an attempt for Aqua and Ruby to take revenge on Hikaru.
