Thank you to everyone for getting so excited about RR2 with us! Don’t miss part 2 of the tour where we go inside the boat and see how ridiculously big she is, as well as get a detailed build update. A quick explanation on the big, mostly empty factory because quite a few of you have asked: this is a brand new factory that Seawind have just taken over and will be the location where all the 1370’s are built- this is to scale up production in response to their massive order books (the 1370 is insanely popular!). So far only hulls 1 and 2 as well as the moulds have made the journey over from the current factory and all the equipment and machinery will be brought over after the annual break for Tet (the Lunar New Year, Vietnam’s biggest celebration). Seawind had actually closed for Tet already when we filmed this, but Shane Grover was kind enough to take time out of his holidays and show us around, let us film, and answer all our questions. My first thought - She's Beautiful !!! She seems extremely well thought out, so many details in the hull design that one seldom considers. I'm extremely interested in how she sails, more so in comparison to her smaller sister. And as anticipated she seems larger than her dimensions would lead one to believe.

Very interesting design tweaks… to this massive hull…. Almost a fiberglass overcast! She is going to be a blast to sail… but she’s still a long way from splash down… Patience will be test for sure… I waited 486 days for a car I recently purchased… To pass the time became active in the vehicle forum…. Was a life saver to pass the time but also to learn a ton about car from others who were currently owners. Enjoy the Journey…. Looking forward to the Splash!!

A lot of people that aren't Asian don't understand how big and important the Chinese New Year is to all the Asian countries. A half way description is Tet would be eqivalent to a combination of all the Christmas and New Year festivities rolled into one holiday for the western world. Most Asian countries come to an all most complete shutdown during this time . The boat is beautiful and if the interior is as big as the hull you shouldn't be lacking in room or storage. Can't hardly wait until it's finished to be able to see how fantastic the new Ruby Rose is. Enjoy your time in Vietnam ,it's a beautiful country with wonderful kind people.

3:53- The moment we've all been waiting for! Gosh- the anticipation, the nerves, the process of getting there- Thank God I'm already bald! I'd be tearing my hair out! She's a biggun'! But, what's NOT to love, right? The planning, all of the time spent comparing cats- what an excellent adventure this has been. I wouldn't trade any of it in, I feel like we all have received an outstanding edjumication during these last seasons! I think I've fallen in love now that she is out of the mold! Can't wait for the fitting of everything. I swear, she is gonna be 'owned' by the internet! I KNOW that I'm not alone in being hip deep in this build. I joined Cat Greatcircle, I've joined Matt & Jessica in their massive build project, but- this feels more like the road that 'nermal' people would take in building their 1st boat. Production- well, yes. Semi-custom... well, sort of? I adore the whole thing and can barely wait for each upload! Please, fer the luv of baby Jesus (ev'rbody loves baby Jesus!) please keep them coming folks!
