Anyone watch Rankings of Kings? The part where Ouken (who’s similarly immortal to Salem) was defeated by being compacted to a point where he couldn’t regenerate in full under his own power? I think _That’s_ the key to defeating Salem: To force her into a situation where her immortality is rendered utterly irrelevant in the face of her imminent defeat. Of course Ouken was also “only” a master swordsman in a living suit of armor, while Salem is the strongest magical creature (though she’s woefully unskilled with that power, being used to getting by with brute force and fear tactics) left on the planet even BEFORE you consider her control over Grimm, so defeating her in such a way would be especially tricky… Perhaps have the staff of creation open a portal under her feet to dump her into a gas giant and call it a day? The environmental extremes would likely screw with her for a prolonged while, and I don’t think she’d be able to escape such a worlds gravity well, nevermind be able to backtrack to remnant on her own.
