Thoughts On Rubys Ability? Best Leader?

After playing with her a few hours today, she is probably the most underwhelming survivor released to date. There's too many conditions to make it even borderline useful at all (having to spend points to level it up, requiring kills to fill the ability, needing the ability to fully countdown and explode, long activation time and the ability itself having a cooldown) Fully charged with max level souls the ability heals about as much as a Cola used by a support and it does about half HP damage to non elites and boss mobs. That is with 70 souls and 3 level up points of investment. Complete Trash.

I think Ruby is definitely the best leader. This is due to the insane amount damage she can put out doing high damage for both melee and ranged weapons( especially when you have her level 25 passive). Her survivability with her healing and built in damage resistance of 20% when holding max number of souls is insane, she can rival most Warrior’s defence despite having non of the weakness that warriors have. Her kit is so versatile that you can apply a wide range of play styles to her especially when building her upgrade tree. She doesn’t really have too many weaknesses I think the only downside is that the other leaders provide more noticeable buffs to their teammates where as Ruby is more like a support but providing healing and defence. Despite that I still think she is the best leader and she will probably be nerfed in the next patch. Edit: I have played about 10 games as Ruby and won each one and I have massively put performed my teammates on the score board and when Rubys have been on my team they have always been on the top of leader board so I think that shows how strong she is. I’ve only played 5 demon matches against her and from that she is quite difficult to take down unless you are running a fear build or army build where you can over whelm her and the rest of the survivors.

@@adamblackedition5529 no Rubys aura does effect her teammates but it only applies once you have upgraded her pink f aura and she has a high number of souls collected Edit, and her ability heals her teammates at the end

My brother, who has watched the show, is telling me there is a good Ruby and a bad Ruby... something about being born out of a pile of corpses and the demon operating as a human for a long time. I dunno anything about that, I'd just like to see a Survivor Ruby and Demon Ruby in the same game, resulting in hijinx.

You charge up the ability while killing mobs then you can either disable the ability or let it go in its own but when you have the ability up keep killing things because the more souls you consumer with your ability up the more damage and healing you do

Do you hold the ability or just tap it? Why didn’t it activate the first time exactly? Was it because he was killing enemies at that time to he didn’t charge it? If he didn’t charge what does that mean? Like hold the button? because it looked like the same animation both times to me.. the 3rd time he used it it didn’t heal.

@@wanya0got0it0goin0on so the more enemy’s killed in your aura you collect the souls. If you have max souls 40/40 or 50/50( if full pink f) then you use your ability it will heal more. The more souls the more heals

They key to killing Ruby is to not feed her souls . Don't spam basics , instead kick her ass with possessed elites or target her when you get boss .
