This is the only time in the entire show where a couple felt sweet and wasn't just a frustrating love triangle, mopey selfish love fests, stupid will they or won't they or forcing bad romantic tension with someone who the writers give fake sympathy to. Seeing Mel and Ruby just at the house, doing some magic talking about stuff this is all you need to build an interesting relationship, and although I've given up on this show and only committing to this season its the ONLY time the whole season where I felt a genuine attempt to be decent writing, especially with how underdeveloped Mel and Ruby are already, they are the best couple by default because of this episode. As the other ones suffer from every other problem mentioned above.

In real life, I don’t remember. In the show Mel is gay and it is possible that gay people can have children with their partner so I’m praying that baby is Mel and Abbys since the baby is from the future, what if Mel starts to have feelings for Abby and since we already know that Abby has feelings for Mel and that she cares deeply about her it would make sense that they have a unborn child together in the future.
