For people who don't have the time to watch the whole vid here's a summary: 2 trays serving if you want 1 tray split all ingredients in half 1 cup oil 2 cups sugar 6 eggs 2 cups all purpose flour 3 tsp baking powder(i didn't have it so I used 1 tsp of baking soda instead) I use this recipe for making simple sponge cakes too and they turn out wonderful Very authentic recipe

@@aafishah choose a size you know the batter won’t flow out or leak from while baking. Because the batter rises and expands. So any size is fine. As long as it’s not too small.

I really like your recipes but one very important thing to mention is that we are not supposed to seal the glass cap that has a hole on it. It can actually blast and shatter. I did the same as you showed and put foil in the hole to make it air tight and the cap shattered like a bomb and blasted everywhere so please let everyone know before suggesting as the quality of stuff is not same in Pakistan and USA.

Nida, It’s very unusual to have a glass lid burst when the stove is set to medium. Regardless I understand the quality of materials may not be the same worldwide. However without a seal you will not be able to bake a cake. My only advice would be to the viewers is to not use a glass lid when in doubt of the quality of product being used.
