Josie I discovered egg shell take years to break down before releasing calcium. I found this recipe: Wash and then place shells in oven 250 for 2 hours. Let cool and blend with Ninja to a powder. Add white vinegar to container, 1 part egg shell to 10 part vinegar, acid will foam up so need large container. Soak 7 to 10 days and will be like a milk, let breath and secure with cloth on top of opening. 1 oz per gallon to fertilize, spray on foliage or direct water. Stops end rot of buds on tomatoes too!

My Grandmother raised the most gorgeous flowers in her garden. She would put egg shells in a large jar and cover the shells with water. After adding shells and waiting 2 weeks the water would be strained, shells ground sprinkled around the base of plants and pour the water around the stems of her flowers.

So excited for garden season! I plant several varieties of tomato plants and use wood ash, one whole egg cracked, bone meal and broken up tums in the hole to help with healthy growth. You've inspired me to try flowers from seed this year.

Josie great job on rucking. I’m a personal trainer and trained for a Tough Ruck event a few years ago w/ a few clients and friends where we rucked the length of a full marathon w/25 lbs (we were in light weight category the other group carried 40+lbs) ! It was so hard. But just a tip so you don’t hurt your back and damage your Prada bag lol. Get a good proper backpack that is strong enough to hold the weights. Also they really recommend a pack with both a waste strap and a chest strap to help distribute the weight. Great way to get your heart rate up but core strength is the key so watch your posture. They also sell weighted vests that I find more comfortable but true ruckers use a backpack/rucksack.

Hi Josie with the Dukkah I have enjoyed this for over 30 years my first experience was my young boyfriend was from Damascus and he ate Dukkah for breakfast , you dip your bread in olive oil then the Dukkah I believe that’s the correct way to eat it as I have done for years and when having guests along side Hummus 😋so yummy crunchy with coriander spices so easy to make and store for months xx

Celery and Lettuce 'bottoms' will grow fabulously if you just give them some soil and water! I tried it last year and was able to provide salad for the family for most of summertime! Anything with a kind of root bottom - I'm going to try cabbage this year too! ;-)

Considering trouser outfits are new to your wardrobe you did well to experiment and to find ideas online. When it comes to layers, unless it's minus 15 or colder, we don't want to look like the pile of clothes on our bedroom chair. I think that image is a good fashion boundary. Have fun! in Paris.

I like Oxford shoes a lot and I think they’d go well with this style of trousers. Plus they’re comfortable to walk. You can also use leather gloves. I bought these dark red chocolate brown ones to match a bag I have. Looks amazing. Moreover, I remember you had a lot of white coats. Did you get rid of them? Because it’s too early for trench coats or jackets. You need a legit winter coat. I’m loving the 90s style. 90s elegant style was supreme

Hi Josie. I would not tuck in the cream pants with any boot. They are too wide for that. However you could wear tall or ankle boots inside the pants, just not tucked in. A brown or cream leather boot (if leather is feasible for the weather) in which you can fit a wool sock in or a fashionable winter boot with a short thick heel would be appropriate with the all winter white look.

All your new outfits looked lovely on you! It’s nice to step out of our comfort zone at times and try new things. I think if you look back at your previous videos I think you tend to wear a lot of your beautiful sweater dresses during the winter months. Which always look lovely. And you also have so many beautiful winter floral dresses that I remember from old videos. Maybe do a deep closet purge and slim it all down. I just did that myself and it always helps my creativity in making outfits because I feel less overwhelmed with the volume of clothes I own. I’ve become so conscious of the amount of clothes I own now but obviously I enjoy fashion so it’s a hard balance lol. Side note….I wanted to know what the average annual/monthly budget should be for clothing. I was curious because I apply this in other areas like not having your mortgage monthly payment be more than 25% of your take home pay. So I read an article that suggested 5% of our monthly take home should be allocated to clothing. And honestly I really felt comfortable with that number. Because often I can feel guilty or feel like that money could have went to something or someone else. And I know I have been spending more than 5% especially lately. Which isn’t good for my wallet or my overflowing (though slightly less now) closet. ☺️ Also, if you’re interested since you get so many free things and products perhaps donate them after a while to your local women’s shelter or elder care home. Or sell some of your more designer items and donate the proceeds to your favorite charities. Just ideas as I have noticed I tend to be more creative with fashion when I don’t have as many options. ☺️❤️

We have just bought a new duvet , I have asthma and don’t want a feather duvet for this reason and lots of other reasons they are not good for you, the new duvet is called Feels like Down, it was Next, not sure if it’s British made however this duvet….oh my goodness I wish we had got one years ago. Something to consider with adding eggshells to your compost - rats love them. Make sure your compost area is covered so that rats can’t get into it, as the shells draw the rats in - they can smell it from a great distance! However, they are a great deterrence for slugs as a natural slug repellent, especially around hostas!

We have 2 and put in all veggie trimmings from the kitchen including coffee and tea grouts and egg shells plus any dead plants and flowers. We have so much of our own compost every year. If someone hasn’t already suggested, try using the slow cooker function on your Thermomix. Let’s you slow cook for a few hours and periodically stirs the meal for you. Just swipe left on the main screen. Love those outfits! I think you’ve finally cracked the winter dressing! Perhaps it’s time to try some leather loafers?

As far as I am aware mattresses must be flame retardant by law. So I assume organic mattresses must be made entirely of flame retardent materials rather than sprayed with a chemical one?

49:23 the cream ensemble looks incredible with brown boots. I'd probably opt for skinny white or cream jeans tuck into boots. I love the white scarf but it might be visually overwhelming with the crossbody bag unless it is a colder day outside.
