I would love to see a video about a packing list for an overnight ruck.

Well said, I’ve never served in the military but I totally enjoy the bonding with a great friend in the wilderness, I bought my first Goruck backpack last year and now I own 3. Every year for the last 3 years my best friend and I have a yearly trip to backpack and hike somewhere in the Rocky Mountains, My GR1 was my the only bag I took with me last year for my carry on and for all my Rocky Mountain trailblazing and this year will be no different, it absolutely the best pack I’ve ever owned although I may bring my bullet ruck with me this year as well for the day hikes.

Camaraderie like this is what I miss about the military.

My pack would be so full at the beginning... and too light at the end. #100beers

I spy Hermits Trail. . .looks like a very cool trip! I would kindly suggest learning the proper way to pack your packs, there's some backpacking videos (I prefer NOLS since I work for them) that would have made your trail ride a tad more efficient -cheers

Jesse Foust hi, the video, my experience and what is portrayed to other viewers that might compromise their safety of following en route on trails in the GC. As I mentioned, it is a kind suggestion. ~cheers

Merrideth Hawk hit me up at bomber@goruck.com and I will give you a code for a free GORUCK Light and you will get an understanding of what’s going on. (I prefer GORUCK since I work for them) :)
