A grieving father in a downward spiral stumbles across a box of his recently deceased son's demo tapes and lyrics. Shocked by the discovery of this unknown talent, he forms a band in the hope of finding some catharsis.

This is a really good film, forget the fact that selena gomez is in this film because she is in this for all maybe 3 minutes, her name was put on this title to attract more people but the real stars of this are Anton Yelchin and Billy Crudup. This film made me smile, it made me cry in shock because I was sympathising with this person and his son. The music itself will make you sit still in awe. My favourite film to date. An Incredible film, an eye opening plot and really worth watching.

Everyone praises Anton Yelchin for his role in the new Star Trek movies, but if you ask me, his character in this film is way too relatable and inspiring to fly under the radar as it has for years. Anton Yelchin is by far my favorite actor and I will continue to show my friends and family this beautiful film so they may come to love Anton as much I do. Your fans miss you Anton. Rest in peace.

Such an amazing movie. And what an incredible reveal that his son was the shooter. It shown another point of view I've never seen before in film. And it worked so well and got me thinking about stuff like that. Anton Yelchin was amazing in it. The guy was going to get an Oscar in his career at some point in the future. He'll never be forgotten. He was so underrated and never got close to the appreciation he deserved. R.I.P Anton.

I loved this movie so much! the only problem I have is that everywhere this movie is advertised, Selena Gomez is the main attraction and she only had 3 scenes in the entire movie. She did fine, i was impressed but I want more about the other more important people to be known that just the famous teen icon. there's my rant, but you should all see this movie!
