@c.a.c.inthespotlight9066 I've been to the Philippines twice during the last 10 years. I witnessed several disgraceful actions by Australians and Americans. The one that stands out the worst, is when I was at Cebu Airport. There was a Australian man who was clearly drunk, he was at one of the food/drink stands in the airport. I was walking up to see what they sell when I heard him yelling at two of the young ladies working there. He had a 500 PHP = (500 Philippine Peso the rough equivalent of $10 USD). The money was balled up in his hand and he threw it at the nearest server Girls head. She and her coworker were both horrified and were cowering by the actions of the belligerent drunk. He was shouting at the top of his lungs that they don't understand "Fucking English" and they gave him the wrong drinks as he threw the balled up money at the 1st server girls' head! I was so angry, I wanted to punch the Australian drunk right there but my (Filipina) girlfriend came over right at that moment and stopped me.

@@DarkKhagan wow! That is atrocious behavior. These westernized cultures have produced some trashy people with garbage in their minds who treat others with rotten behavior. Good job to those young Filipinas for keeping their heads and not unleashing their tigress nature on that drunk belligerent buffoon. He deserves to be banned from the Philippines as well. I’m going to make a reaction video to this one. In it I’ll share some of the repulsive things I’ve seen foreigners do while in the Philippines.

Ppl like this make all Americans look bad. I'm an American black male, whenever my friends & I travel out of the country we always do our basic research on the country we're visiting. The customs (do's & don'ts), the laws & basic words & phrases so we can communicate. We recognize we aren't in our country, we are visitors, we're there to enjoy ourselves/vacation, not to cause or create drama/problems.

@Truthseeker99991LOL. You could title that one "How to crater tourism in the Philippines". Actually the Philippines does place a lot of value of foreign tourists who spend dollars,euros etc. which boosts foreign currency reserves and helps the hospitality industry. Similarly, if they ever remove the 30 day visa free entry as DU30 threatened at one time, the tourist industry will crash.

Wow it's so amusing how you very same ones making these comments get so offensive when something is said about your culture and country. It's so amazing how the thinking process of no matter what, it's always the foreigners fault attitude is so prevalent there in the Philippines. No I'm not defending anyone as I'm only responsible for my own actions. I'm just giving an opinion on how you all take an advantage of situations when it involves foreigners. Especially ones with American citizenship. However, You get very offended if a foreigner said something negative about the Philippines. I've seen other KZbin videos discussing this situation. From my understanding the guy did not directly come from the United States. I think he flew in from Thailand to the Philippines. Many of the other videos also question what is his ethnic background because, as they said in the videos, he clearly don't look like a white American or a black American and are wondering if he originally didn't come from a different country and eventually got American citizenship. Once again this is based on what the other KZbin videos are saying. A few of the videos even suggested that there's something more to the story that's not being said. Either way he clearly did not act in a good manner. As far as the labeling of "they feel like they are entitled" well I definitely like to know what the definition means of that. It kind of sounds like to me that it's more less of a feeling of being inferior and intimidated by some just because they come from a country that has a reputation of having people with a lot of money. Just because some of those ones that come from that so-called they feel they are entitled country happens to be waiting in line for something and they see that the local people got charged half the price of what they're being charged doesn't mean that we feel that we're entitled just because we're asking why we are getting charged double. But oh no that don't happen right? I visit the Philippines two to three times a year. Yeah I've been in places where they tried to charge me more. Restaurants, stores, taxis, motor cabs, bus tickets, hotels, rentals, and resorts. Some would only charge a few pesos more but some would want to charge at up to almost double. Now just because I refused to pay it and have turned and walked away or question how come it's this price when the menu says different does that mean I'm being entitled? Oh I'm sure there's some of the locals that's going to comment on this and say that I am but truthfully I was just not being stupid. I know it's hard for an extreme vast majority of the local Filipino people to accept what the problem is but instead just turned a blind eye at it but the truth is it's not all the foreigners that has came there in the past that has given you the reputation of not being an honest country to visit. Obviously there's reasons why they were saying it and it sure in the heck wasn't being entitled. I believe it was more or less trying to be took an advantage of about the locals there. If anything it's actually the Filipino people that feel their entitled. Entitled to get that extra money from the foreigner. Just because someone goes there to visit or to retire there that happens to come from one of those so-called they feel they are entitled countries doesn't mean that what ever community they decide to settle in that all the businesses there suddenly become they feel they are entitled to charge that person more. You don't like what all I had to say then oh well. The fact is fact. Truth is truth. Nothing hurts worse more than the truth
@jimnoble905
@jimnoble905 Жыл бұрын
@@DMSProduktionsyeah it's so easy to say that just because there's a video made about a foreigner. In this case about an American. No I'm not trying to justify his actions or anything like that. I'm only responsible for my own actions. Well you know something I visit the Philippines two to three times a year. The only reasons why I cannot go there and stay for a long time is because I still work. I'm not retired. Does that make me one of these so-called passport bros? Umm no. I have a good job here in the USA. Yeah I'm in and around that six figure income. By no means am I going to risk losing that job just to go over there and stay for a while so that way nobody would label me as a so-called passport bro. That's why I don't go and stay over there for a long time. And once again that does not make me one of these so-called passport bros! Yeah I do have a fiance over there. She understands my situation and she accepts it. I've met her a total of eight times. Yeah it's so easy to label all foreigners that go there who happen to not be retired and cannot stay there more than a week or two at a time passport bros but yet you all get offensive when something is said about the reputation of the people there in the Philippines. I believe that word is called scammers. It takes an intelligent person and common sense to recognize differences. Of course I'm not going to sit there and say that all are scammers but I can definitely tell you that I would definitely say that there is a certain percentage that is and there's a certain percentage that is not. In same regard, I'm not going to tell you or anybody that all us foreigners are 100% good but I'm definitely not going to say that 100% all of us is bad. A certain percentage that goes there or to any other country I'm sure does have bad intentions and there is also a certain percentage that has very good intentions. This also holds true with that perceived reputation over there in the Philippines that all foreigners are rich. Yeah there's a certain percentage that goes over there that is and there's a certain percentage over there that's not quite as Rich. I'm very well equated with the Philippines. I have a lot of knowledge about the Philippines. Like I said I've been there quite a few times So yeah I can make some assessments. As I'm had her fact the place where my fiance currently lives at which is in Metro Manila and it is an apartment building. She moved there in between one of One of my visits there so none of the other tenants there knew that she had a formed boyfriend/fiance. Everything was all nice and peaceful until after I visited there. Ever since then she's always having knocks on the door people are always making excuses to try to borrow money. Some is even went as far to say well you have a foreigner boyfriend you got money. Even some of the local males there have approached her and made comments to her about them two getting together and then use me for the money. You'll be surprised how many times she's told me all them stories. Now every time that I go there it's unreal as to how many people will just show up at her door. They will come in for a little bit talk for a while and then as they're leaving out the door they will signal something to her and they won't do it in front of me but they will ask her outside was there any way that they could ask me could I let them borrow money and that they would pay me back. Yeah that's a 100% true story. That's why she's so ready to come here. That's why paperwork is already been filed. Have a nice day

In a lot of western countries this rudeness is not uncommon and is tolerated until it get close to physical contact, I don’t agree with being rude or disrespectful to others even when they are idiots. Going through customs once, the lady in front of me was treated very rudely, (metal detector wise) bringing her to tears. When it was my turn, wearing a necklace, belt buckle and metal clasps on my boots the detector sounded, the guard looked at me so I started taking of my shirt so I could be searched, he just waved around his hand held detector and let me through. I think he realised when he looked into my eyes that I was unhappy with the way they treated that woman and that I would not hesitate to stripe naked in front of everyone, stating I was told to remove… I’m not shy.

Expletives are profanity or dirty words. This behavior is common when a company asks for personal information to use their website. A person will enter a made-up email address, or a throwaway email address that is real, and a fake address and phone number because they do not want to be solicited and do not think the company should be requiring that information. Often times the made-up information will contain expletives because the individual is upset that they have to go through that. However, doing this for immigration purposes is pretty stupid. My guess is he was drunk and associated the required form with other sites that require information he does not think is necessary.

There is a sense of entitlement as well as an arrogance with some Americans, Brits and Aussies etc. Some white men have this sense of they are better than the country they are going to and expected to be treated like royalty by the locals. I apologize for these A-holes. I myself am 1/2 white (other half Cherokee) and hearing these stories as well as observing these behaviors are embarrassing to me. There are many people I feel that need to be banned. Most Americans, Brits and Aussies etc. are decent people, just a few bad apples can spoil the bunch.

Hello Rubeauti , the word Explicit means in his case that what he wrote was not stated clearly no real detail which made then confused and left a lot of doubt. Another way to explain it would be if someone sent you naked photos of them self you would say that man sent me photos they were very explicit. Anyway I have always had great luck at the airport I have always felt welcome never a problem. Thank Rubeauti take care .

A white American showed a complete lack of regard and respect for people in another nation? Nooooooooo.......surely its the first time this has ever happened. I just cant believe it. They're usually so accepting and willing to submit themselves to a different way of thinking and doing things. And humble; oh so humble they are. Doesnt sound like an American at all, and certainly not a white American. This must be fake news.

I remember when going on a plane was special. We were always dressed in button-down shirts or casual business attire. What I have seen getting on airplanes today is beyond disgusting because it shows nobody has self-respect for themselves or other people on the flight. ** This extends now to the behavior of individuals from any country when visiting another place. For some reason people today have not been taught manners, how to talk properly and be respectful. Glad I am old. This new generation is sad.

Dude! Me too. I still remember my first flight. It was a "charter" flight (because we couldn't afford a real airline). My mother dressed us like we were going to church. The old 707 looked like a bus in the sky - the overhead was just a rack, no closing compartments. And, as you say, we were thrilled to be on it. You could not be more right - civility, dignity, and class are 20th century constructs that have gone the way of the passenger pigeon.

Expletives is the educated way of saying words that are banned. E-Travel forms are still used. They just call the Entry Forms again. Same thing. It clearly states on the form to write in the address of the Filipino resident or family member you will be staying with. Please list the hotel address you will be staying at if you are staying in a hotel. That's almost word for word what it says to the best of my ability. Americans. Filipinos are used to having titles used. They understand you aren't going to call them sister or brother, but it means your politeness better sound really polite. Salamat kaayo ka.

Another thing even though the Philippines is a developing country and it is also corrupt.The main reason why they don’t have the police on every other block in the Philippines is because without the police around the Philippines people aren’t going to be trying to kill each other.So they don’t need to be watched and baby sitted.But the Philippines police is heavily present where they need to be at the immigration office and at the airports and ferry ports.

Expletives = swear words! I am surrounded by people like this guy. I'm a medic and people have lost their minds since the koof. It's like people forgot how to act in public. No respect, no discipline, no self-respect. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior. Good for PH not putting up with the nonsense. ❤Salamat, Auntie.

No problem to fill in the etravel form to the Philippines. The same for entering China. No problem at all. I have seen inappropriate behaviour by Americans at Chinese airports and also in the Philippines. I am not generalising. I know everyone not like this man, but it's good he was deported

One of the best things about the Philippines is the sense of manners! Americans have become far too "entitled" in their thinking and attitude! Civility is not a luxury, it is a necessity for a country to be liveable. There is a reason that Filipinos are considered friendly - because they are! Common courtesy is very common in P.I., and not so much in the U.S.

Expletives are curse words like f*#k, for example, as well as other profanities. This guy got off easy. They should have thrown him in prison for a year. That would have taught him to have better manners. Our manners, our conduct, is one of the few things in life that we have control of. All people, no matter their station in life deserve to be treated respectfully until they show that they don't deserve it. You cannot be rude to people and expect no consequences.
