Rudra veena (Rudra vina) is a large string instrument that originated from India which is used in Hindustani classical music. It is one of the significant types of veena performed in Indian classical music. As Rudra is a name for the Hindu god Shiva, Rudra veena means "the veena dear to Shiva". This music is ideal as meditation music, relaxation music, religious music, background music, Lounge music, calm music, yoga music, meditation music, study music, peaceful music, beautiful music, soothing music, and relaxing music.
