What a nice travelogue! I do not speak Hindi, yet I watched it from beginning to end and loved it. You seem to be extremely lucky, as vast majority of other trekkers sharing their visual memories here could not feast on the magnificent panoramas as you did... May I have some questions, anyway? First: Did you cover the distance from Sagar to Rudranath in one stroke? How many hours did it take to you to finish? How did you feel after this performace? Second: Is it permitted (or possible due to slope) to put up tents near Rudranath overnight? Third: What food is available up there? Fourth: Did you return the same trail or did you try the Panchganga - Anasuya devi one? Can porters (mules) be hired down in Sagar? (We are five backpackers from Austria planing to set out for R in mid-October. Thanks for sharing experience once again.

Thanks a lot Dhvani Vani. It's my pleasure that you liked this video. Now let me answer all your questions one by one.1. We couldn't make it in one go as we reached Sagar village at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and started trekking by 2:30. We reached at Pung Bugyal (4 kms from Sagar) nearly 5:30 PM so we decided to spend night there as next rest house was at Mauli Kharak (10 kms from Sagar, 6 kms from Pung Bugyal) and going there was not a good option as this 6 kms trek goes through dense forest and it was our first time on this trek. Next morning we started at 6:30 AM and had lunch at Mauli Kharak. We reached at Panar Bugyal by 12 in noon. We took small breaks at mid points and reached at our final destination, Rudranath temple at 7:30 PM, and it was getting dark by then. So you can say it took us nearly 16 hours to reach at temple because it was very first experience of trekking for my cousin and that too most difficult trek among all 5 treks of Panch Kedar yatra. And for me it was great experience as always as I love to go close to the mother nature. Though it was very tiring but for this kind of beautiful trek. 2. Yes it's possible to put up own tent as there is flat ground near temple. Some trekkers stayed in their own tents. You can put up your tent at all rest points shown in the video. 3. Chapati (roti), rice, lentil soup, and vegetable curries are available food, and yes Maggi noodles too. I'm no saying food is great but it was not bad either, and at that kind of places if you get food that itself a big thing. I loved what i got there to eat specially "lengda" or mountain okra at Pung Bugyal... :D 4. Our other bags were at hotel in sagar so we returned the same trail. now i want to see other one. I have compleed all 5 treks of Panch Kedar yatra (Kedarnah, Tungnath, Madmaheshwar, Rudranath and Kalpeshwar) but didn't make vlogs of rest four so i'll visit remaining four once again. Planing to go to Tungnath after 20 September. Hope i answered all your questions, if anything left feel free to ask. One important thing - just check the closing date of Rudranath temple before going there as it's the temple that closes at the first place among five. If you have some extra days then you should visit "Jaipur - the Pink City of India" too, my hometown.

Camera movement is very fast while catching surroundings, try to keep it slow. Watch in viewfinder/screen as if you yourself are watching it on TV. 2. It would have been much more better had you captured the sunrise, sunset as far as possible. 3. Visuals of a sky full of innumerable stars, in a deep dark night, is a rare luxury away from the glittering cities, for urban people. It is a total scarcity amidst urban life. From my point of view, buddies, and regarding your health and training conditions, it was not a good idea to go on the same day to Panar and Rudrinath !! Panar is a so amazing spot, that you should have rested there and enjoyed the landscape(s).... And then on next morning, going slowly to Rudri !! To really enjoy that trek, you would need much more days ! .... i spend weeks and weeks just in Panar, enjoying trekking all over around... it was 20 years ago and at that time, no one place to sleep or rest on the way ! lol !! it has much change !!! Yes the direct trek from Sagar is quite harsh if you have no training !!!!.... Personnaly, i always prefered the other trek, starting from Ansuya Devi. What is nice in your vid', dudes, is that you give voice to local people, you film them, which is quite rare in that kind of video !! thx for this !!! Garwali people, men and women are just wonderful, gentle, peaceful, always smiling and welcoming. Where are you from ?.... (i guess may you're Bengali's ?....) Thx for that really nice vid' !!! Both oh you have been courageous !!! ; )

As you see in the video that this is the toughest Panch Kedar trek.I didn't face breathing problem so for me it was fine, though I was very tired during climb so took breaks at regular intervals and drank plenty of water. As you said you are physically active so I think there won't be any problem for you in trekking. All the best, just don't go alone. at least one person should travel with you.
